McDonald's looks pretty golden-headed into 2018.
The combination of McDonald's planned rollout of fresh, never-frozen beef, its recent relaunch of its Dollar Menu and woes at other restaurant chains could help the restaurant boost its same-store sales and grab more market share in the industry.
The burger giant's stock ended 2017 up more than 41 percent, the largest stock move in the restaurant industry during the year, and more than one analyst is calling for more gains in the new year.

Eaten at their restaurants in England, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany and Japan.
Menus differ (Beer in Germany, Curry in England, Mayo with fries in Belgium (excellent), Something weird in Japan) but burgers tastes the same. Weird but comforting.
Thanks for posting the video.

My Grandpa went through the Russian revolution when he was a teenager. I wouldn’t be here if his parents did make the sacrifice to send their teenagers to a land where they thought their kids could be free. They never saw each other again.
National Fools League
sponsors.
If they've stopped that, I'll go in for my morning coffee.
There’s an up-scale one on the other side of town.
I don’t think you get table service, but there was talk of it at one point.
It’s pretty cool looking. If someone took a photo of the seating area, you’d probably not guess what restaurant (fast food place) it was.
I think that’s reasoned to take into consideration.
It’s important you let them know why you aren’t coming around though.
While I came on this thread to back McDonald’s, I haven’t eaten much fast food this last year. I did some, but not much to speak of.
On that point, I won’t defend them.
Wow...Thank you for sharing! It makes me miss the place, especially considering that it took place in winter, which is when Muscovites are more reserved (or in bad moods)...Normally, it’s the beginning of spring when everyone’s cooped up energy finds release and musicians and performers set up camp on the streets!
I have some pre-Revolutionary Russian ancestry...From Odessa when it was part of the empire— family made their way to Paris first.
Thank you for sharing. We are so lucky to be free indeed.
They took the animal fat out of the oil they fry in.
I eat at McDonald’s...I just make sure not to tell anyone.
They’re the only place open on Christmas and New Years, when all the other places are closed. At least in my area.
“fry the fries in lard “
Had to make some pies for a special occasion. The recipe for the crust called for lard. It needed for about a few tablespoons per pie.
Could only find a huge container, so used the rest to fry French fries and taco shells. HEAVEN! What a difference! That is really yummy stuff.
Ditto, there was a very long stretch of 10 years I never bought McDonalds.
Now however now on occasion I buy coffee and a $1 Egg McMuffin. I ditched Starbucks $2.25 plain coffee and $3.50 breakfast english muffin sandwich.
This year I’m growing tired of the price of K-cups and going to replace my Keurig with a press type coffee maker.
The real problem is the potatoes they grow now. McDonalds had the best fry made when they used beef tallow in the cooking oil now can't really enjoy them. I have a french fry cutter that came with both size blades, blood sugar goes up when I eat them so.....
Good for them but their meat is garbage. And they really dont seem to want people like me eating ther anymore.
I’m holding out until they adopt the nomenclature “Freedom Fries”.
Just get a few of the refillable k cups and
you can put whatever coffee in them that you want to.
We have the self service kiosks where you order, take a seat and they bring it to you.
And Chick-fil-A keeps right on Rolling Along...
Oh man, that sucks.
I like that in the places where they use that method.
