Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) said "we are all going to lose patience with the attorney general" over his perceived apprehension to prosecute people like Lois Lerner and Peter Strzok.
"I love Jeff Sessions. I think he is a great guy, but he has got to do the job he is there to do," Huckabee said. He said Sessions, a former Alabama senator, must "enforce the law... universally. Without regard to who the person is."
Huckabee said Sessions may be holding off on prosecuting Lerner, the former IRS employee allegedly implicated in the conservative nonprofit targeting scandal, or Strzok, the FBI agent who sent anti-Trump texts to his mistress, because he does not want to be perceived of "partisanship." "[But] this isn't about partisanship, this is about justice," Huckabee said. "This is a dangerous place," he said of allegations against Strzok and Lerner. "This is the kind of thing you see in totalitarian countries where the power of the government is used to step on your political enemies."

Huckabee: People ‘Are Going to Lose Patience’ With Jeff Sessions
Going to? Get real, Mike. Happened a long time ago. AG is clearly in way over his head and needs to be replaced by someone who can do the job.
One topic omitted from the print article that was on the video was the story of the submarine operator who took a picture of his work area with his cell phone (and did NOT share it with the Russians)...
So he is now in prison?!?!
Yet Huma, Hillary, Lynch, Lerner, et. al all had a wonderful holiday season enjoying their freedom.
Terrible double standard!
Seems if you are a democrat you are either not charged, or your sentence is commuted :(
What!?
That’s stupid. Sessions, Gowdy, and Issa are all the same: all talk and no substance. — what we need/want is an AG who hasn’t been in DC, preferably who hasn’t been indoctrinated in “law school”, and who has a massive love for Justice.
You are apparently very easily fooled.
I always liked the stories of people being fired by fax. It strikes me funny for some reason.
“Sessions didnt even have enough respect for President Trump to discuss his intentions beforehand or to give the president a private briefing of his intent to recuse.”
I know! Remember when a reporter asked DJT about Sessions’ recusal on Russia? The look on his face said it all; he was gobsmacked — and extremely pissed. That might’ve been Sessions’ weeniest moment. Displayed very poor character.
For an (alleged) Christian, his life isn’t the best testimony.
Gowdy 100% screwed up his Benghazi probe. All he needed to do was get on the record the name of the person who gave the stand-down order. A rescue mission was spinning up and ready to go. Almost certainly three of the four lives lost could have been saved. They were sentenced instead to a terrible, protracted death bc someone ordered the rescuers to stand down.
That someone was Hillary. That is why Gowdy gave her a complete and total pass. To have forced her to admit to effectively murdering three Americans would have destroyed her. Gowdy, being a full on swamp creature, couldn’t have that. So he let Hillary skate without even making a pretext of trying to get answers.
The ghosts of Benghazi do not endorse Gowdy for AG—to put it mildly.
I think we are all being too impatient. I went through a similar situation in the company I worked for. A corrupt vice president was ripping off the company. I knew it but had no hard proof. It took me almost a year to gather enough evidence to go to the president of the company. He thanked me and told me to keep it under my hat. It was a full year later when the VP was called in to a meeting where he was introduced to two detectives from the white collar crime detail and two uniforms who took him away in handcuffs.
That company was tiny compared to the federal government; only about 500 employees. Also, we didn't have to worry about timing for political purposes. I think 2018 will be VERY exciting.
Thanks for filling in the details.
You are absolutely right on Sessions' character revealed by the way he conducted himself.
President Trump has treated Sessions far better than Sessions has treated President Trump.
“My Choice is Trey Gowdy”
What we need is an ambitious prosecutor who has not yet risen to a level where he owes anyone any political favors. We should not pic bought and paid for politicians for such jobs.
And all successful politicians are bought and paid for. They are all part of the swamp.
Sessions has been playing possum for a WHOLE YEAR?
An AG that does nothing but RECUSE himself is telling on himself and you're buying into it.
Huckabee is RIGHT... and several have already lost patience with Sessions long, long NAP.
Good choice in Trey Gowdy, but he would never get confirmed.
Your failure to grasp the situation is incomprehensible.
The objective is the absolute destruction of the leftist organization and all the various sub organizations.
Your desire for trivial immediate cosmetics is not in the plan.
I am inclined to agree, with one caveat. We don't know what Sessions is doing behind the scenes, maybe he is doing his job and nobody knows it because he's not leaking. Yeah it'd a long shot I know.
Doin good. Right where he should be in a case this size.
Sessions, like most of DC, is lost in a realm of slumber and confusion. It is powerful...
We are called to overcome her, DC can’t.
I would never trust Trey Gowdy. I believe he is a total fraud. All Hat...no Cattle!
Gowdy also never asked where Obama was that night during Benghazi. The most closely guarded secret in history. I’m surprised Hillary let Obama off the hook.
Excellent point. Gowdy ran interference for Hillary AND Obama. Imagine a Democrat doing that for two highest profile conservatives. Gowdy is Uniparty up to his eyeballs.
