A biology professor from San Jose State University recently argued in several tweets that “chromosomes don’t determine sex.”
The tweets were written in response to Texas State Representative Briscoe Cain, who had tweeted a picture of the XX and XY chromosomes as reminder of "how many genders there are."
A San Jose State University biology professor recently accused a Texas state legislator of being “bigoted” for tweeting that there are only two genders.
“In case you forgot how many genders there are,” Republican State Representative Briscoe Cain tweeted on December 21, attaching a picture of the XX and XY chromosomes.
"One thing I am not doing is arguing with someone whose basic premise is incorrect and tries to tell me that they know more about my science, in which I am an expert, than I do."
Describing herself as a geneticist, Rachael French replied to the tweet with an extended harangue in which she impugned Cain’s motives and derided his understanding of biology.

Where does this stuff end? We are turning into the Soviet Union without even realizing it.
Not even basic biology is immune from being ‘repurposed for good intention’.

Biologically speaking, there are only two genders. What science is this ‘professor’ using?

OH how, how did I just know the so called prof was a woman.
Actually, gender is a term that is only correctly associated with language/words. There are three genders: masculine, feminine and neutral.
Sexes, though? Yeah, there are only two: XX = female, and XY= Male.
And, by biological definition, chromosomes determine sex.
My biology professors would be shocked to learn they were wrong for all those years. They used to tell me that XX/XY determines sex. I should call them and tell them that personal preference determines sex and XX/XY is meaningless . . . because "science".
Gobbledygook made to sound like science to normalize depravity and mental illness.

Next they’ll need to find the tranny gene, neuter gene, poly gene, butch grne, femme gene, sissy gene, dom gene, sub gene, top gene, bottom gene, drag king/queen genes, chicken hawk gene, cougar gene, chubbt chaser gene, etc

There are chromosomal aberrations, to be sure. XXY, XYY, XXX (yes, for real), and others. Together they comprise between 0.5 and 1 percent of live births. Most fetuses with chromosomal abnormalities don’t survive gestation.

This woman’s brain is totally messed up, she should be banned from teaching even how to clean toilets, let alone biology and from being nearer than 100 yards of any school.
Two things determine gender and sex. Chromosomes are the objective standard.
Degree of mental illness is the 21st Century substitute standard.
And it’s prolly racist too!
