The video is just over one minute long and features editors at the magazine, wine in hand, giving advice to Hillary.... The recommendations go from “taking up knitting” to going hiking more often instead of tweeting about exploratory committees for 2020.... Almost immediately, people responding to the tweet posted using the #CancelVanityFair tag, with one Twitter user calling the video a “mean-spirited, sexist revolting video telling Hillary Clinton to go away and take up knitting.”
Peter Daou, who was an adviser to Hill back in 2008, cried that the video was a “cheap shot” against “one of the most accomplished women in the history of the United States.”

Many, especially on FR, are saying the DEMs don’t want Hillary around in 2020, but her supporters have other ideas. Their hatred of Trump fuels their (misguided) desire to keep propping up Hillary as a viable POTUS candidate.
Vanity Fair is probably not anti-Dem. More likely they really mean “Dump this loser!”

Those editors recognize that Hillary has to go if Dems have any chance in 2020. She’s sucking up all the oxygen that should be reserved for up and coming Dems, not a hasbeen.

The HRC voters will not be given the opportunity - the DNC has already flushed three billion$ on her last two failed candidacies!
These people are VF editors, not comedians. They probably think a slick video presentation is most important.
