Yesterday we got about 4” of snow just at quitting time, and then the temps went up above freezing in the next hour, thus creating a SKATING RINK ALL THE WAY HOME. I was very, very careful and slow driving home. A couple idiots in pick up trucks thought they could just buzz around the corners turned right.....spin outs!! No accidents, but idiots!!
Tomorrow, midway through the winter is Sunrise at 10:13a and Sunset at 3:42p.

Howdy, Kathy.
Paychecks all out on time today?
Did y’all get enough snow to cover the ice on the streets or is it still an “adventure” to drive anywhere?

Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...you made it New York. Lucky you.
Do they have crew quarters at the airport, or do you venture out and go to a hotel?

Hi - they have a crew lounge (yuk) but overnights we have motel space at the airport which is pretty decent.

Yo radu!
In at 8:00, out at 12:00 and then a bit of grocery shopping.
We're looking at real cold temps starting soon and through the rest of the month, teens at night and cold during the day, but no snow, thankfully.
What's new your way?

Ooooo BRRRR! Sounds like winter is moving into your area with a vengeance. The good thing is NO SNOW but it’s still not going to be fun getting out and about. *shiver*
Not going to be quite as cold here but winter will move in Sat. Possibly a few snow flakes mixed in with rain Sunday.
Had to take Tatiana to the vet this afternoon to find out why she’s lost so much weight suddenly. He felt it’s a GI tract problem and gave her a couple of shots. She seems to feel a little better already.
Now kicked back watching the Survivor finale, rooting for Ben - - the Marine - - to win. He just made to the final three. WOOHOO!
