Democrat Doug Jones holds a 10-point lead over Republican Roy Moore among likely voters in deep red Alabama.
Greater party loyalty plus higher interest in the election among Democrats combined with more enthusiasm among Jones supporters gives him the advantage in the race to fill the U.S. Senate seat previously held by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Thats according to a Fox News Poll of Alabama voters conducted Thursday through Sunday using traditional polling techniques, including a list-based probability sample with both landlines and cellphones.
Jones receives 50 percent to Moores 40 percent, with 1-in-10 undecided (8 percent) or supporting another candidate (2 percent) -- which could make a difference Tuesday. Thats even truer with such an unconventional election with unconventional candidates.

Who at Fox News should get fired?
This is the third or more posting of this story on the forum.
I’m not trying to give you a hard time, but it does bother me we give so much coverage to this attempt at propaganda.
Like HilLIARy’s 10 point lead?
I hope so.
I hope all the democrat voters thing it’s in the bag, so they can stay home.
They are counting on low turnout by GOP and an usually high turnout by Democrats.
The Trump voters are coming out in force and will elect Moore.
A lot of cheer-leading going on today at Fox for the Dem.
Sure hope they're wrong.
Good luck Alabama!
In Alabama when a DemocRAT wins they have been handing out bottles of Ripple and packs of Kools with a free ride to and from the polls in the heavy metropolitan areas of Bham, Mobile and Montgomery.
Who at Fox should get fired?
Everyone but Hannity, Laura and Tucker.
This is nuts. My internal poll of one shows Moore 54-46 tomorrow.
That’s just as valid as a Faux Poll.
People use “fake poll” whenever they read bad news in the polls.
But this really is the most absurd fake poll that ever was. It presumes that equal number of Alabamans lean towards the Democratic party as lean towards the Republic party. That’s a ridiculous assertion, given that Trump won by 28 points.
Adjusting for 28% more Republicans... this gives the Republicans an 18-point lead. (Or, depending on how to reallocute, an 8 point lead. Still big though.)
46% of you votes for Jones?
Jones wins by 8 points....
So, lazy liberal voters should just stay home tomorrow!
Wasn’t Hillary out-polling Trump right up to her bitter end?
I lie to pollsters and newsies, don’t you?
Well, we will all know tomorrow.
I heard that a summary of the polls, or a “poll of polls”, showed Moore comfortably ahead.
This new Fox poll is so far out there, so far in left field, so much an outlier, that it strains believablility.
I saw one post over at The Hill where the poster theorized that Fox put out this poll to give a false sense of confidence to Dim voters so that many of them will stay home, figuring that they have the election won.
I know, previously, that this same theory was mentioned which speculated that because almost all the polls had Hillary winning the election, it backfired when it resulted in a percentage of the Dim voters not voting for the same reason as above.
One of the companies Fox News hires to do their “polls” is Anderson Robinson Research, who brags about their previous projects like this:
“Whether it is criminal or social justice, the environment or bettering the education system, at Anderson Robbins Research we take pride in our passion for issues that mean something to us. It isnt easy to help influence opinions in these areas, but it is our mission to help organizations do it because of our ability to both understand data and how to spread it.”
Polls are tools for the media to influence voters. Repeat every time you hear a new poll announced. It’s just another form of advertising, based on lies.
Based upon what? Another poll today put the race at tied 46%.
