FTR, Franken did NOT resign. He merely stated his intention to resign “in a few weeks”. He also continues to take no responsibility. Franken claims some events didn’t happen, others he “remembers differently”. All and all a well rehearsed blowing of smoke. They don’t like Franken, and see him as a liability. Knowing he will be replaced by one equally odious, under the bus he goes. Same with Conyers. He’s done, regardless, soon to be replaced by a younger version of himself. All this is an attempt to set the Dims up on the moral high ground against Moore and eventually, Trump. Imagine the Dims being sanctimonious and holier-than-thou about, well, frankly anything!

Some talking head on Fox brought up Bill Clinton’s improprieties, and the liberal guest naturally remarked how it was absurd to dredge up something from twenty years ago.
