If the “Party” you speak of had any integrity, then Franken wouldn’t have done anything for which he had to resign, now would he?

A caller to the Mark Levin program had a great question:
If CNN is reporting that 32 Democrat Senators are calling for Al Franken to resign, why doesn't Mitch McConnell call for an expulsion vote now, since they are on record saying they have the required two-thirds to make it happen?
Why wait for "the coming weeks" for Franken to take his time about it? Why not check to see if these Democrats really do have the integrity to follow through on their words with an expulsion vote now?
