When did actors become the ultimate authority on the constitution?
CNNs David Axelrod (who, lest we forget, was Obamas political guru) interviewed actor Tom Hanks on The Axe Files on December 2, and pushed Hanks to pontificate on Donald Trump, the constitution, and fake news. When Axelrod asked Hanks whether he was concerned by the president target[ing] news organizations, Hanks responded, As an American, it concerns me because its monkeying around with our Constitution.
Again, this is David Axelrod, who worked for Barack Obama. He now has a show on CNN. Hes asking wonderfully leading questions about Donald Trumps criticism of CNN. Is just a little self-awareness too much to ask?
Anyway, according to Judge Hanks, media criticism is meddling with the constitution. Where is that in the amendments?
In the hour long interview, Hanks went on to talk about the fake news phenomenon: Its relatively obvious, I think, as what is trying to go forward. When you tear down these institutions to a level and say you cant believe anything that is in any of them, that raises the stock of those agenda-filled other institutions and what not so that if you cant believe them, well that means you get to believe some of the other stuff that is in these and so what is happening is that dilution, the dilution of the great
theyre throwing dirt and oil into a bucket of water. So it all becomes undrinkable after a while, he told Axelrod, the former senior Obama official who now has a show at
CNN.

Hey, Forrest Gump, where is it in the Constitution? I've read the Constitution and I can't find it....could you show it to me?
Telling the truth is monkeying around with the Constitution? There is nothing remotely unconstitutional about freely criticizing a free press.
Thanks Tom, I didn’t know CNN was on a par with The Constitution.
What an idiot.
FUTH. The media is trying to overthrow our country.
Acting in the Da Vinci Code movie is monkeying around with Satan.
A biased media of any brand name and in any form (printed, Internet, broadcast, town crier, etc.) is a threat to the Constitution. Hey, Hanks, CNN is one of the leading threats.
The other day, I was thinking of a discussion my liberal minded father had with me when I was a youngster, circa 1983. The discussion regarded shows like Magnum PI and Dukes of Hazzard and others that featured dangerous car stunts and fisticuffs and shootouts and other violence. Dad told me that he had recently watched an interview with a real life private investigator and that person said that the work they did mainly involved marital infidelity and company embezzlement, fairly dull and mundane things. The real life fellow said that the idea of getting into even one violent situation like the Tom Selleck character did on a weekly basis was absolutely ridiculous and certainly not at all realistic. You can also consider that the car stunts and fist fights Bo and Luke Duke (John Schneider and Tom Wopat) engaged in on “Dukes” would likely have you either very seriously injured or dead in a very short span.
Now, let’s transfer this to the 24/7 networks. Places like Vermont and Maine have the most casual of firearms laws and are among the least violent places on the continent, the accusations involving Roy Moore are very likely false as they do not fit a pattern of a habitual abuser and the persons doing the accusations have very questionable backgrounds and very likely strong political motivations to have recently them, the Mueller investigation is now been revealed to have been likely very seriously compromised by it’s bias and corruption. Yet, CNN and other news outlets portrayed these stories and others in such a manner not too dissimilar from what we saw on primetime action shows back in the day (very physically or emotionally violent and graphic). As an endnote, I also remember being told then that “Barney Miller” and the British produced “The Chinese Detective” were the more realistic police programs on TV.
Because Tom Hanks is a known ConstitutionAl authority....NOT!
As usual, the Leftist Media Maggots hide behind the First Amendment to sow their treason.
I hold the opinion that if I need to submit to a background check to exercise my Second Amendment rights, they should be required to do the same.
In defense of Tom Hanks, He produced two WW II stories that will be the definitive movies in history
Band of Brothers
Saving Private Ryan
Both are Apolitical and great American history portrayls
He could have asked Tom Hanks if he is concerned about the partisan politicalization of news that lowers the bar for responsible journalism? Does Tom Hanks know the difference between propaganda and accurate reporting?
The CNN has a long record of highly biased and irresponsible reporting that is clearly outside of basic journalistic integrity and standards.
That is the concern of the American people as expressed by President Trump. We are all concerned about the clear lack of basic journalistic integrity and standards, mainly by the main stream media.
Why is Axelrod pretending otherwise?
A logical followup question by Ax would have been concerning actual fake news by Brian Ross. Tom, how do the actions of Brian Ross enhance the Constitution??? It seems Brian Ross was ripping it down the middle. Wouldn’t you agree, Tom??
“When you tear down these institutions to a level and say you cant believe anything that is in any of them, that raises the stock of those agenda-filled other institutions and what not so that if you cant believe them, well that means you get to believe some of the other stuff that is in these and so what is happening is that dilution, the dilution of the great “

one rambling, incoherent sentence! nonsense indeed.
Funny how Obama for 8 years trampled on the Constitution and everyone was applauding him for it. The same people now claim to care about that same Constitution...
Because the Constitutional purpose of the fakestream presstitutes is to promulgate deep-state/globalist propaganda, right Tommy?
Used to respect that guy.
Then he spoke without a script.
