This capitulation by the owners essentially spells the death of the NFL. They’ve only temporarily appeased their SJW employees, but have done nothing to restore the trust and approval of THEIR employers - the fans.
This attempt by the owners to buy back peace, will be seen by most fans as a degraded sell-out, and a slap in the face - especially when they see where the money is going.
The owners could have nipped this in the bud by firing the first creeps who took a knee during the anthem, but that would have taken courage - something they’re obviously all lacking. Instead, they’ve chosen the path of rank cowardice, and have forfeited their business to the demands of the radical left, who despise them anyway.
These people at the NFL REALLY don’t get it. Actually it’s fairly shocking how completely clueless they are.
I won’t give a penny or a minute to anything to do with the NFL now...not that I’ve watched them this year anyway but now they’ve doubled down.
However, If they were going to do something like this they should have set it up on the basis of matching funds for player contributions.
This is what Liberals(fascists) do:They take other peoples money by force and redirect use it for their politics/protesting.

This is what the NFL deserves after putting the Clinton/Obama crony Joe Lockhart in as Director of Communication.
Lockhart was Clinton’s Press Secretary during the period when Monica took a knee for Bill and during the impeachment.
Lockhart rented his home to the Obama’s when they moved from the Whitehouse.

The NFL has corrupt officiating and players throwing games each week. The players union has killed the NFL. Guaranteed contracts, money up front and long deal contracts allows for players to get money without performing.It’s all garbage and it’s corrupt. If a league was formed that had better officiating, more white players and the union done away with.The games would be better and more entertaining.

You’re right that it’s the discipline and attitude of the players that makes the difference.
The highly effective Kirby Smart, the coach of the Georgia Dawgs still calls his players “kids”, suggesting the atheletes can still be moulded as men and educated in the game.
This is leadership in a sport where it’s sadly missing.
The college game is still alive and well. Goddell went the opposite direction. Instead of leading the league, he is leading its ultimate demise. Kind like the George Soros of football.
The key liberal leftists (Democrats, advocates, etc.) in this country can NOT be allowed to die of old age before they to prison for the rest of their lives. It must happen.

College football players who are playing for a shot at the NFL instead of a marketable degree are screwed.

Can’t sell it. We didn’t buy it was an investment. It’s away to show pride in the team and help it financially. The certificate along with all my Packer memorabilia is off the walls.
As an “owner” I’ve completely severed all my connection to the team and the NFL. I wrote Packers president Murphy about my disgust with the team and sent the same letter to Goodell. It’s not much but it’s what I could do.
So, no more traveling to games, no more NFL Sunday ticket, No game Pass. no mercy.
Collateral damage to Directv, Sirius radio, airlines, hotels, bars NFL tv sponsors.
Thats thousands of dollars a year.

Was at a bar last night and they had the Steelers/Bengals game up on several large screen tvs. Sure where a lot of empty seats.
