Thousands of Twitter users on Friday were urging people to #BoycottSanFrancisco after a jury there decided Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, a five-time deported Mexican man charged with shooting and killing Kate Steinle, was not guilty.
The Boycott San Francisco hashtag began trending on Twitter Friday morning as people vowed not to travel there or buy goods or services produced in the city.

I used to love visiting San Francisco and have been there many times. The last time I was there is the last time I’ll ever be there.
“Twitter is based in SF. Using its platform supports its host city.”
If it is good enough for President Trump to take down the enemies of America. It can work for those wanting to use it as a weapon against the Sanctuary City of Gay Frisco!
Agreed. Soemtimes one has to adopt the tactics and weapons of one’s enemy to prevail.
The feds need to do what they did when they couldn’t get all white juries in the South to convict klansmen (klanspeople). Try the Mexican for violating the woman’s civil rights.
They had to have a not guilty verdict. The city would be liable otherwise and it would shine too much light on the sanctuary City Democrat voting machine.
Sometimes, one has to adopt and improve on the tactics and weapons of ones enemy to prevail.
Same here. We used to go into The City every now and then to go to dinner or see a show. Haven't been there for about 15 years (other than driving through to get to the airport). It was getting uncomfortable going there with all the bums, and even Union Square was littered with trash. The last time I went in, I had taken my daughter and some of her friends shopping for prom dresses. While stopped at a traffic light, a bum came over and started banging on my car.
We take guests up to Napa or Sonoma. If they want to go into SF, they're on their own.

Don’t buy ANYTHING from the state of California.
I lived there briefly decades ago. It was sick back then. I can’t imagine what it’s like now. Adios San Fransicko.
I think a travel warning should be declared on any US citizen planning to go to California (and I live here)!

“I havent bought Ghiradelli chocolate products - as good as they are - for years because the company is HQd in San Fransicko.”
Actually, Ghirardelli, is owned by Lindt (a Swiss company),and has been for quite a long time, and it’s US manufacturing is in San Leandro, CA. I had a family member who was Mfg Mgr there until a few years ago. The buildings in SF near Fisherman’s Wharf were sold off long ago and are now shops and restaurants.
Lets see. Im 68 and Ive boycotted CA for 68 years. Feels good.
Never did on purpose and was at the border twice, both from Az and NV. Now that I have a reason to boycott, Im doubling down.
My Dad was stationed at Oakland Naval Air Station during the Korean War, and my sister was born at the Alameda Naval Air Station Hospital. I was five years old, but remember the magical place that was San Francisco!
We moved back to Wisconsin, where I grew up. In 1981, I got a job in Sunnyvale and moved to Morgan Hill. The City had started to get seedy, and now, it is not a place for normal human beings.
I hope they secede, or the Big One comes.
Then you had better stay out of the produce section of your grocery store, because you will find that nearly all of the fresh fruits and vegetables come from the Central and Imperial Valleys of California. Ditto for all the electronic gadgetry that you have. http://www.slate.com/articles/health_and_science/explainer/2013/07/california_grows_all_of_our_fruits_and_vegetables_what_would_we_eat_without.html Hope you don't starve!
