A conservative sees that feast and is thankful for that bounty, a leftist sees that picture and bemoans the fate of the turkey the raping of the land used to grow the patatoes and corn, the destruction of the climate from the energy used to cook the food and heat and light the house...

My wife and I have life goals we work on every day. One is “no drama” and the only place we can control that is in our house. All of our friends and relatives know this because we told them “when they come to our house to leave the drama outside our front door.”
My wife was afraid this would offend people, but this quickly showed us the people who we wanted to associate with, friends or relatives.

As I have posted and noted over the years. When I turned 50, I stopped dealing with/discussing anything with life’s losers, mainly liberals.
That has worked well, going on 3 decades.

Why is it so hard for the left to be thankful? The answer is as easy as pumpkin pie. The left is a movement built on resentment. And resentment and gratitude are opposing emotions. That is why the left really hates Thanksgiving.
