I love Laura Ingraham. Love her. I'd propose marriage to her if I wasn't already married to The Love of My Life. But since starting her TV show on FNC on October 30, the quality of her radio show has gone straight downhill. Is she burning the candle too much at both ends? A taped TV show tonight (even Shannon Bream is live) and she left her 3-hour radio show today at the 2-hour mark. She did take one hilarious caller, the lady who described the beer can in the turkey's butt. Anyone have a tape of that call? Priceless. Anyway, waddya think about Laura?
It’s the day before Thanksgiving.
Many hosts took off. Maybe she just gave a shortened show...
Thanks. In my meager defense, this was my first vanity post ever in more than 20 years on FR. And, secondly, I will add $100 to my prior donation. Happy Thanksgiving.
Laura Ingraham has no peer on FoxTV. She’s the best.
O’Reilly was suffocating; Hannity cannot spin an original idea out of mind no matter how much he tried; the rest are all second tier intellectuals and Shep Smith is grotesque. Wallace is insufferable. Ingram is just superb night after night. Yes, she “wife’ material every inch. Classy and brilliant.
Talking about her new book on CSPAN:

“Is she burning the candle too much at both ends?”
Probably, yes.
I watched her talk with Raymond Arroyo about films and music. Laura talked about her brother, made a few general comments and had a rough segment for ten minutes. Not crisp, not informative and not smooth. Sad. She is brilliant. Maybe tv is not her cup of tea.
I’m not a big fan of talk radio - I can figure most stuff out with half muh brain tied behind muh back and can’t stand the echo-chamber - but I’d sure vote for Laura as the best of the biz. (You can probably tell I’m not the biggest fan of the guy who actually IS #1). Hannity is a repetitious dunderhead although his heart is in the right place. It’s just that his entire content could fill about a 15 minute show if he’d just say it once.
But Laura is so darn smart and quick on her feet that she’s actually entertaining as well as informative. And I suspect she’s putting her energy into the new TV show. Tonight she did a little segment on the celebs we’ve lost and knowing a lot about Tom Petty and Glen Campbell, she got both of them 100% correct, couldn’t have said any of it better myself.
Thankful to have at least a few TV and radio hosts who are worth listening/watching. (No, I’ll not be watching Mark Levin either).
I turned it off.
The discussions of who died were more than I can take.
Dreadful show tonight.
.
I worked with Laura for one event, she is stunning in person; her skin is perfect.
But, like others, she has her A moments and other moments. I won’t judge her show, or compare it to others, until she has a year of performances on record.
Balancing things takes time.
Was Hannity live tonight? If so, did he reverberate what he said last night, the night before, the night before that, the night before that nigh...etc...etc.....?
Judge Jeanine was the host for Hannity tonight.
Hannity is as insufferable as was O’Reilly.
Ingraham is smart; sharp; and classy. Dartmouth graduate and clerked for Justice Thomas. And a convert to Roman Catholicism; worked in the Reagan WH and is an avid supporter of Trump. Cannot ask for more on TV these days.
I thought Jeanine was right on her game tonight. She didn’t get shrill or strident, and was on point the whole time.
There are nights though when I can’t listen to her harping, valid as her points may seem to be.
I like Laura, but I did notice a lack of spunk on the TV show tonight. I thought the segment on dead celebrities was lame. For one thing, she failed to mention a lot of them. Not that I give a you know what about most of them.
She’s probably exhausted. She could have had a fill in host, so at least she was there.
I want to hear what Judge Jeanine has to say about her 119mph speeding ticket on her show Saturday. I suppose she might be off this weekend though, and I probably missed her saying something about it as she filled in for Hannity this week. I love The Judge. I’ve never gotten close to 119mph, 95 maybe but not 119.
Laura Ingraham: Is She Mailing It In?
Out of the four nighttime shows, Tucker, Hannity, Ingraham, Bream, I think she comes in just behind Tucker as fairest. The Hannity and Geraldo show is almost unwatchable because the few moments where Sean isn't yapping then we get Geraldo or someone similar to be fair and balanced. All four evening shows ( plus every other Fox host show ) took a dive for the GOPe in Alabama and some were horrific like Pirro and Nappy the alleged Judges, while Laura was somewhat even-handed.
Her problem ( Laura Ingraham ) is practically cloning the Hannity overtalk style so much so that I would swear they have the exact same tone-deaf producers. FNC is as tabloid as ever with "Alert" and "Breaking" graphics for anything and everything regardless as to if that is even the case. It is truly a Murdoch instrument.
Lip Gloss Barbie who comes on after her is the worst lately. She is exactly a clone of the Megyn 'Don't objectify me 'bro' Kelly hour of eye candy for frustrated GOPe yuppie males. And has the same lack of legal insight for an alleged lawyer, convicting on false accusations. Airing Stirewalt and Thiessen after their ridiculous track record through the campaign is simply unbelievable. How can they even show their faces in public? How can anyone give them airtime and not feel guilty?
FNC GOPe-TV is only a viable entity as long as there are DNC-TV outlets like CNN/PBS/ABC/NBC/CBS/etc everywhere else. They can all crash and burn.
Ditto that. She is a real hot saw, and I am enjoying her show. I watched the first two nights and noticed small stage errors that would be normal for a rookie. By the 4th show, perfectly smooth. She’s a great addition to Fox.
Test run for Laura imho. If she does well here she will be given the 7 oclock shot and.... this man will be given a shot at 10pm: Secret Service and New York Cop. Yup.
I like Laura, I turn Hannity off after the first, Unbelievable.
