Just being stupid and sending a junk pic in a consensual situation isn’t enough to have to resign over.
I’m sort of assuming that most men have sent junk pics at some point in their life.

I haven't, and I don't believe that any of my friends or the men I work with ever have. And it's not because we're a bunch of fat ugly pigs ...
I would honestly be surprised if what you suggest is true. I am a pretty “aware” middle aged guy. I was in a conversation about this just the other day when we were talking about Weiner. Out of a bunch of us—ranging from late 20’s to mid 50s, none of us had done it, and only a couple could think of sending one to their wives.
And we all agreed that it would NEVER include a face.
I am not a prude at all. I just think a Congressman would know better.
Not only has this man never sent or taken such a pic, but it would never occur to me to do so. Can’t speak for others but I would still be surprised if this were common above the age of 30 or so. But, then I have been surprised more than a few times by the degeneration of our society.

Don’t think so for the great majority of older guys. Younger guys maybe so; the stuff they (and their girl friends) send and have told me about has left me speechless. Most older guys might send stuff like Geraldo did, skin but no junk, suggestive but not porn. But there are exceptions, like this idiot.

I have SERIOUS doubts as to the truth of that assumption.
I can tell you categorically that I’ve never even come anywhere CLOSE to entertaining the idea, much less doing it, and IF any guy I know actually has, they fer SURE as Hell haven’t copped to it, and are likely going to go to their grave wishing they could have that one back.
ABSOLUTELY NO guy EVER has in my presence mentioned doing that, and NEVER have I heard anyone brag about it.

Nope. Never. Even if there were such things as cell phones with cameras back when I was really healthy and some women would hit on me I would not have done it. I would have been too worried something like that would come back to haunt me and I also would have found it disgusting even back then.
