Tom Cotton won't speculate about expelling Roy Moore if he's elected:
Washington Examiner ^ | November 19, 2017 | Kyle Feldscher

Posted on 11/19/2017 1:16:34 PM PST by Kaslin

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton refused to speculate about what the Senate should do if Roy Moore wins his Senate race in Alabama after being accused of sexually harassing and assaulting multiple women.

Cotton, a Republican, said it’s up to the people of Alabama to decide if that’s the kind of man they want representing them in the Senate.

“As far as Roy Moore goes, I'm not going to speculate about what may happen should he win. We're three weeks out from the election, he made it pretty clear this week that he's not going to step aside … it’s up to the people of Alabama to make that decision,” Cotton said on CBS’ “Face The Nation.”

National Republican Senate Committee Chairman and Colorado Sen. Cory Gardner said last week the Senate should expel Moore if he’s elected.

Cotton said that could be a possibility, but proper Senate process must be followed.

“That will be an important decision if the people of Alabama will make,” Cotton said about Moore coming to the Senate.

“Again, if he comes to the Senate because the people of Alabama elect him and someone files a complaint with the Senate Ethics Committee, as they have done with Al Franken, it’s up to the Ethics Committee and all the individual senators to make a decision based on their findings and recommendations.”

The rest of the title is 'It's up to the people of Alabama'
I agree with Senator Cotton. It's up to the people of Alabama if they want Judge Roy Moore as their senator or not.

Why wasn’t he aksed about expelling Al Franken?

It would be nice to hear someone say, “We don’t rig our elections, like Crooked Hillary and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The people will have their say.”

If the people of Floridia can elect Al Hastings, a judge who was impeached and convicted and removed from office and if the people of Illinois can elect a guy while he’s in jail (I forget that guy’s name), then the people of Alabama can elect a guy whoever (whomever?) they want.

Why wasn't he asked about expelling Al Franken

We're being played. The dems and the traitors who still control the Republican Party would gladly sacrifice Al Franken if they could use it as an excuse to get rid of Roy Moore and President Trump.

Roy Moore, President Trump, and Al Franken are all being "accused" of doing something before they ran for office. NONE OF THEM should have to deal with these issues. The one who has a real issue is Senator Menandez, but nobody's talking about that.

I wish he’d been asked about the congressional slush fund used to pay off sexual abuse victims.

And if the people of Washington, D. C. can elected Marion Barry twice, and Barack Obama twice, and Bill Clinton Twice, and John McCain for as long as they have...

This type of logic does a disservice to Moore in that it compares a man proven guilty of nothing and or who has not been against the United States in any manner, to people who were.

Still, if the people of Alabama elect him, he damn well better get to serve.

I don’t live in Alabama, but I’m one with them on this.

Since people like Sean Hannity and liberal democrats have lodged in the public mind that it is a settled matter that all accusations are true...

Every major conservative senator and politician can get ready. They are digging their own political graves with their cowardice.

I wish he’d been asked about the congressional slush fund used to pay off sexual abuse victims.

He shouldn't even have to be aksed about it. That should've been his response.

In fact, that should be the response of every Republican or Conservative radio talk show host who is aksed about Judge Moore.

So they are talking about expelling someone where there is no proof that the person is guilty. What they have is a bunch of very old accusations with nothing to back them up.

Why don't we just skip the election altogether so that Mitch McConnell and his pals can just choose the persons they like from each state.

Mitch and Cory Gardner e.t.c get to overrule the will of the people of Alabama.

Alabama is part of the US.

Ditch and other Senate GOPeers are not interested in the will of most of the US. Why expect them to treat Ala. differently?

Have they expelled Al Franken yet? By the same rules why did they not impeach and remove Bill Jeff back when he was in office?

There is actually evidence in these two cases.

Have they investigated Barry and his minions for persecuting and violating the civil rights of conservative citizens?

IOW, he won't say whether he's okay with the Demwit and Partisan Media Shill policy position, that smears and documented events are equivalent. Thanks Kaslin.
