Roy Moore is a Steve Bannon fantasy candidate. Hes an insurgent populist, a self-described renegade who shares Bannons arsonist attitude toward the Republican establishment and cares little for the proprieties of D.C. Or the basic standards of a civilized society, apparently, given that two women have accused Moore of criminal sexual assault and three more say he tried to date them when they were teenagers and he was in his thirties.
But to Bannon, who has returned to a leadership role at Breitbart since leaving the Trump administration, deviance is working alongside Mitch McConnell, not setting a conduct bar so low that even Anthony Weiner can clear it. Bannon wont let Moores odiousness stand in the way of his burn-it-down dreams: Hes a Leninist, a fire-starter, and hes got a trick up his sleeve.
Make that two, in the form of Aaron Klein and Matthew Boyle, the reporters who together constitute Breitbarts investigative team. Bannon has sent them down to Alabama on a mission to defend Moore and discredit the bombshell Post report from last week, and their work is already bearing fruit. Just yesterday they broke a whopping four stories, each headline beginning with a breathless EXCLUSIVE. Step aside, Bob and Carl two new gunslingers just rode in.
Many Alabama voters think that Moore brings enough good to the table that its worth overlooking the bad, even as the bad gets worse, and worse, and worse. Breitbart is doing its best to persuade them to remain entrenched, while the party leadership has refused to go along with Moore and his predations. If Bannon wins, the Republican party will resemble a more sinister version of the Democrats circa 96.
On second thought, maybe we should be thankful that he keeps Klein and Boyle around.

I voted for Brooks in the primary, but the swamp spent megabucks to paint him as an ardent anti-Trumper. They were successful; I suppose they felt that Strange would have an easy time taking out Moore. Now it's beginning to look like a circular firing squad...
William F. Buckley must be turning over in his grave seeing the depths to which the National Review has sunk.
Buckley was an intellectual and a man of integrity. The National Review today is just a tool for the lowest, most dishonest, leftist propaganda.
The “1977” next to the second “Christmas” looks like it’s added as well!
The town has had two restaurants by that name. The first went by the name Olde Hickory House. The second, opened in 2001, goes by the name Old Hickory House.
Does anyone know any guys who writes like this?
Also, look at the print of the “e” in Olde.
A girl wrote this, imo.
Surprised the “i’s” weren’t dotted with circles or hearts...
Moore was so smitten with the 16 year old he didnt even know her name or asked her name. Who in the hell signs a Yearbook for someone without addressing the greeting to them, Nobody, thats who. This Yearbbook is an out and out forgery. He was also not the DA and never was,
Definitely. Mo was my top choice. But he didn't have a chance against Luther's money and Moore's name recognition.
If the assistant county DA had been banned from the mall it would have been front page news. Of all the outlandish lies Ive read about Roy Moore thats one of the stupidest. Who in the hell could believe that. Nobody.
He’s a lawyer. He knows that there is no reason to defend “nothing” and once you do, it ceases to be “nothing” and becomes “something”.
While many, MANY more are trying to CREDIT Roy Moores accusers.
They havent found ANYTHING!
I had the same thought, but I’m not sure.
There also seems to be a “Fold” in the Page.
This would be unusual for a Year book.
Jose; just LOOK at what that human is doing to the baby alpaca!!
Pepe; I caught a glance; but now I just have to look away.
Yes, and Sean Hannity keeps repeating the yearbook crap as evidence. Thought he hired investigators...Dufus. This isn’t even a trial.
That’s a stupid argument. I had Seventies cars with electric locks.
That's all anyone needs to know about the "credibility" of their findings.
National Review: "all the news that's fit to wrap fish in."
But in the 70’s all it took to open the electric lock was to pull on the door handle. Their weren’t child locks back then.
Roy Moore has been a conservative long before Steve Bannon even knew what one was.
Is it just me? Can someone confirm if that note was written over a previously erased note. Not sure if it is the paper, camera or lightening but if you see the note very carefully it is as if it was written in pencil (for practice) than erased & written over it in pen.
Need to make appointment with eye doctor. LOL
When the Democrats in the 90s decided sexual impropriety didn’t matter.. they set us down this path.. when they decided sexual deviancy and sodomy weren’t wrong, but just an alternate lifestyle they drove our society further down it....
When they said boys are girls and girls are boys if they say so, the took us even further....
So now there is no credibility left.. if Moore had sex with a 14 year old, he needs gone.. if he dated some 18 and 19 year olds in his 30s, I honestly could care less.
However, the toxic say anything nature of the UNIPARTY to protect itself means that after decades of this, no one can believe ANYTHING related to politics and accusations at face value.... Whether it be the lies of Anita hill, the Truth of Juanita Broadrick, or anything else.. at this point 2+ decades into Democrats spinning any sexual impropriety against them as lies... and throwing out ever more name calling against republicans... and republican unipartiest spending $30 Million to try to stop more in the primary....
The credibility is gone.... so unless you’ve got a smoking gun, I don’t think you are going to sway a lot over voters with accusations about behavior 40 years ago by folks who have vested interests in the uniparty or the democrats.....
I suspect the accusations are going to get even more and more ludicrous if the polls don’t show Him losing.... and my suspicion is he’s still going to win by a good margin.
That explains why Allred handed out black and white copies of the alleged signature.
