Keurig's decision to pull its advertising from Sean Hannity's Fox News show is not going over well with some viewers.
Social-media users on Sunday posted videos of themselves smashing their Keurig coffee makers, two days after the company said it would no longer advertise during Hannity's show.
Keurig and other companies faced pressure to pull their ads following Hannity's interview with Roy Moore, the Senate candidate in Alabama who is facing allegations he engaged in sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old girl and pursued several teenagers while he was in his 30s.
Critics of the interview said Hannity went too easy on Moore. By Saturday, several companies including Keurig, 23andMe, and E-Trade announced they would pull their ads.

Apparently it took only one email from Media Matters to get Keurig to fold.
I was actually thinking of buying one but forget it now.
I thought Hannity went straight down the middle, neither supporting nor accusing. I don’t think Moore conducted himself very well and I did think there was a whiff skepticism in Hannity’s voice, but to pull ads from Hannity’s show over this is a ridiculous overreaction!
I would never take the human element out of making coffee.
Hit Keurig where it hurts.
Smash their coffeemakers.
This is going to send a strong message.
Hannity made a very reasoned statement of why he was not “rushing to judgement” in condemning Judge Moore. He reminded folks of the indictment of Richard Jewel for the Atlanta bombing, that it was later proved he did not do and the college team, soccer or lacross, that the black female claim mass raped her and those charges were later proved to be a hoax.
It was one of the best Christmas gifts I ever got my husband, and he would be pretty mad at me if I were to smash it.
I can write a strongly worded letter, though. ;)
Who does Keurig think is buying their machines? Its not the elite nor the cool hipsters. Its middle America who thinks average coffee by the cup is a good idea. I have one and it was a gift from my mom so it stays. Plus my husband and kids ( who all think gas station coffee tastes good) like the convenience.
Cut for Bieber.
Smashing your Keurig is symbolic at best. Keurig already got your money and they could care less.
Starbucks Verismo is actually pretty good, better than Keurig. Limited coffee options, but good with what it does.
(Sauce: coffee snob owning, under duress, two Keurigs & one Verismo.)
Some of our so-called, ‘Modern Conveniences’ are downright stupid.
Just make a pot of coffee (or two or three, if you’re ME!) at home and compost your coffee grounds and filters.
Billions of K-Cups wind up in landfills each year, and Keurig won’t even have compostable cups until 2020:
Call me a, ‘Crunchy Conservative’ but this kind of manufactured laziness drives me NUTS. And don’t even get me started on disposable diapers. ;)
What kind of coffee maker is that? I like my french press but its a pain to clean so it stays in the cupboard while the Keurig gets plenty of use.
Perfection!
Bieber?
Great choice of brewer, but we need a quiet talk about beans.
To a liberal, any excuse is a good excuse...................
