MONTGOMERY, Alabama A new poll from JMC Analytics shows Democrat Doug Jones taking a lead over conservative Republican Judge Roy Moore in the Senate race here as allegations against Moore from the Washington Post roil the Senate race.
The poll, released on Sunday morning, shows Jones at 46 percent and Moore at 42 percent while Arlester McBride, an independent, gets 2 percentand 9 percent are undecided.
With leaners included, Jones clocks in at 48 percent, Moore at 44 percent, and McBride at 2 percent with 6 percent undecided.
The survey was conducted on Nov. 9 and Nov. 11after the Washington Posts piece on Moore broke. Its sample size is 575 likely voters and has a 4.1 percent margin of error with a 95 percent confidence interval.
The news here is not good for Moore-this pollster was accurate throughout the primaries, despite claims from GOP establishment sources aligned with appointed incumbent Sen. Luther Strange that his polling was not right.

Let me ask FReepers, what should he do if it's obvious he will lose based on upcoming polls? He could step aside and ask people to vote for Strange.
It's a shame that Sessions was appointed as AG. He could have been Senator for life in that seat. I think Rudy or Christie would have been looking into the emails, Uranium one, the dossier, the rigging, the unmasking, etc. Maybe Sessions is behind the scenes, but based on the comments of Jason Chaffetz about how it's harder to get documents under Sessions than it was under Lynch, I doubt it.
You do not need to be rude. I’m asking an important question. This was a polling outfit that showed Moore winning in the primaries and was accurate. If subsequent polls show him losing, it’s fair to ask what should be done as this is a necessary seat to maintain.
If we can’t win it we don’t deserve it.
Sending Roy Moore a hundred dollars.
No one is trying to be rude. You appear to be a defeatist. This is the type of chicken little style crap we don’t need. If we want the libs to stop these shenanigans, we have to fight them. They have done it to Todd Akin, Clayton Williams, Bruce Herschensohn and others. They tried to do it to Donald Trump.
His name is on the ballot. It cannot be removed. What you advocate is giving the seat from the most conservative state in the union to a communist.
I have more faith in the people of Alabama and their common sense than this poll.
Are you out of your mind? Do as Moore is doing...fight the Swamps dirty tricks and, above all, NEVER SURRENDER. Quitters & cowards never win anything. The globalist, open-borders Establishment is waging war on us; we need to fight back hard and stand our ground and not try to advance DEFEATISM.
The JMC (only one where Jones had a supposed lead) over-sampled women by 6% (56% women polled to 44% men).

Vanity) Moore Leads in 5 of 7 Post Taken Since WaPo Story Broke
Actually these days in the age of Trump, polls have a 95% confidence interval of being wrong. Like this one it's going to be dead wrong.
It's garbage in and garbage out.
Roy Moore WILL WIN this election, the Alabama citizens WILL stand up and give the establishment the middle finger just as they have done to us for decades!!! The folks in Alabama KNOW this man and they WILL NOT buy this crap sandwich for one damned minute!!! Thank God this is Alabama and not some other MUSHY state in the union!!!!
I’m not being paid anything. Sheesh. This is like the libs calling everyone on Twitter a Russian bot.
The problem is that McConnell himself would prefer Doug Jones over Roy Moore. If Doug Jones wins, McConnell still wins, and now we don’t have a vote that Trump needs.
Where are you from?
Don’t forget the 87-93 percent chance of Hillary winning according to the polls on November 7.
According to libs on Twitter, Russia.
What difference does it make? The GOPe hate Trump and Moore. They hate the people they were elected to represent.
Neither Christie nor Rudy would have passed Senate confirmation.
