Boston, MA - The new Emerson College poll in Alabama has Republican Roy Moore leading his Democratic challenger Doug Jones by 10 points, 55% to 45%, with about a month to go until the special election on December 12th. The ten-point margin represents a significant closing of the gap from a 22 point lead in Emerson’s September poll. The poll was conducted November 9th to 11th, in the immediate aftermath of a Washington Post story detailing allegations of sexual advances of Moore with an underage women within the past 40 years. The sample size is n=600, with a margin of error of +/- 3.9%.

THAT is the very first poll that I have seen that showed Judge Moore with a 22 point lead. I have seen nothing in this state that comes close to that. 11% was the largest we had here in the state. Where did they come up with that number? Never seen that poll before. Wasn’t published around here.

There are people in Alabama who don’t like Moore. This kind of crap motivates Moore supporters and Christians who don’t like smear jobs in general, without motivating people to vote against Moore (There aren’t many Doug Jones enthusiasts out there, so the vote against Moore is purely negative).
Moore is over the worst of it, and outside of Trump himself, is very well positioned to parlay this into a bigger win, as most people have to be heavily motivated to come out to vote in a mid-December special election. The Washington Post, Politico and CNN are playing this exactly wrong, and at this point are only motivating Moore’s base.
Moore WILL raise more money, now. Jones may raise some, too, but he is running as the kind of Democrat who might win a house seat in Birmingham if they didn’t have a black to run. It is too late for him to change his profile. What’s Jones gonna do? Run ads with Hollywood celebrities saying what a dirty 32 year old Moore was? Maybe they can get Mitt Romney and John McCain to make an ad, “Vote for the Leftist. It’s that important.”
This is starting to appear like an old Yakky Doodle or Tweety cartoon where the character’s nemesis keeps on trying variations of the same attack, with variations on the same failure.
When the dust settles Moore wins 57/43 as 2 points of Democrats switch in embarrassment Yes I believe there are 2% honorable Democrats.
You can bet that should Moore win, he’ll be in no mood to work with the Senate leadership. Trump will have a much needed ally.
The despicable dems and press are going to have to ratchet it up a few notches.

Based on the decades of RINO left wing behavior, left wing involvement, always being involved in campaigns to compromise and defeat conservatism, actively collaborated to use parliamentary rules to kill conservative voting efforts, and current collaborative efforts under way by a number of RINO’s with the most left wing anti-American socialist, IN ALL HONESTY, there is NO other conclusion anyone could arrive at.
In fact, when studying the depravity of many of today’s RINO’s, (one example being how McCain mistreated his first wife, has sought numerous ties and relationships with Kremlin officials for decades etc), AS MATTERS OF RECORD, these guys have hurt many of their own family members, been consistently involved in corrupting our legal system (i.e. pushing for left wing federal judges), repeatedly acted to create laws which were at best corporatist (socialist), repeatedly voted to increase the budgets of social welfare agencies as well as the recipients, and acted to destroy anything which would strengthen our liberty as individuals, and undermine or erase the principles of our Constitution which keeping us from transforming into outright tyranny.
Moore is a stand up guy and always has been.If there was anything in his past over 40 years it would have come out long ago.
