The popular Keurig single cup coffee machine maker is facing a boycott by outraged fans of conservative talk radio and TV icon Sean Hannity after the company caved to pressure from Democratic Party front group Media Matters for America after the group smeared Hannity over his comments about Alabama Republican U.S. Senate nominee Roy Moore and accusations reported by the Washington Post that Moore preyed on teenage girls when he was in his early thirties.
Earlier on Saturday, Keurig tweeted to MMFA President Angelo Carusone the company would stop advertising on Hannitys Fox News Channel TV show after Carusone smeared Hannity as a defender of child molesters. Carusone and Media Matters have been waging a war on Hannity, trying to drive him off the air by targeting his advertisers. (Keurig should take note that the USAA insurance and financial company reversed a decision earlier this year to stop advertising on Hannity after a rebellion by its military-based customers and shareholders.)
Good afternoon @Keurig. You are currently sponsoring Sean Hannitys show. He defends child molester Roy Moore and attacks women who speak out against sexual harassment. Please reconsider.
Angelo, thank you for your concern and for bringing this to our attention. We worked with our media partner and FOX news to stop our ad from airing during the Sean Hannity Show....

I use a mr. Coffee kcup brewer and off brand kcups
It’s the only coffee maker I’ve used for years. Do you use paper or metal mesh filter?
A sure sign of an incompetant CEO is one who thinks politics is more important than a good product.
Totally agree. I would not waste my money on one of those worthless coffee makers.
War is on folks....you know what to do!
Realtor.com has done the same, if tweets are correct
It was invented by the man who invented the Aerobie frisbee! I think that is cool. Regardless, it does make the best tasting cup of coffee I have tasted.. and I am a former coffee shop owner. :-)
Only idiot CEO’s or business owners dare to po 62+ million Trump voters/supporters.
He can ask the NFL/ESPN/Disney/ABC thugs how their tv battle with Trump has been going.
Yep, politics and agenda, ahead of stockholders and company. If it was a real moral stand, I would support it, but this is a media matters smear and the CEO likely knows it.
We have given it as a gift and we exclusively use it, ourselves.
Heck, we even request its use at coffee houses for personal cups of coffee.
It is the most efficient and effective use of coffee per servingeven of double espressos.
Its amazing.
Boycott Keurig and use this!
“He defends child molester Roy Moore”
So they dropped their ad on Hannity because of innuendo, nothing proven, Roy Moore’s word against democrats/hillary supporters.
Shameful.
I don’t use Keurig, but my conservative son and his wife do. I’ll let them know about this in case they haven’t heard.
Yes, I know. I’ve been using one for years. I was curious if you use paper or mesh filters with yours. There is a “permanent “ mesh filter available to use instead of paper. The paper filters tend to absorb the coffee’s oils, but I’ve read that some of the mesh filters don’t fit perfectly.
Thanks for the reminder I need to get more filters!
When it comes to making coffee, I prefer to keep the human element involved.
I use an old Starbucks Barista espresso maker or a Chemex 6 cup brewer depending on my mood. Never once considered the Keurig stuff.
Prefer my $14.00 French Press and coffee from Black Rifle Coffee Company - owned and run by U.S. Veterans. Wonderful coffee!
Favorite at our home, hubby is brewing it up right now:
