Howdy, radu! How was your Saturday? Any excitement around there?
Our day was fairly quiet. W had a wedding to go to late afternoon, but that’s it. Hubby is still improving from his “procedure.” :)
I used my dad, my hubby and my son on my vet music post tonight.

It’s been a pretty low-key day here. Warmer than yesterday, thank goodness. Not nearly as cold tonight, either, and that’s great. It was cold in the house last night but it comfy tonight. Whew!
Just got off the phone with my brother. He called just as I hit “post” earlier which is why I disappeared. Been a while since we’ve chatted so it was a nice evening.
Sounds like you had a nice afternoon. And really happy to hear your hubby’s doing well after his procedure. A good day all around.
I saw your music posts earlier and guessed correctly who those handsome men were. An excellent grouping for your music posts tonight. Three handsome men in uniform. *sigh* Makes the heart go pitty-pat. :-)
This hits home today
Part of the solitary world of the vet is being able to enjoy complete bliss doing absolutely nothing. This is a trait grating to civilians who must constantly search for endless stimuli. Unbeknownst to them, the greatest thrill of all is just being alive. A lot of vets have an Obi-wan Kenobi calmness. After what they went through, how bad can anything really be?

That paragraph hit me too, because Don is like that. He does stuff, but it’s not as important as just being.
