Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and several other Republican senators said on Thursday if allegations are true, Alabama Senate Republican candidate Judge Roy Moore should drop out of the race.
The Washington Post released a story on Thursday alledging that Moore initiated a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl when he was 32, as well as other cases of sexual misconduct.
Moore denied the allegations.
“These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the Washington Post on this campaign,” Moore said.
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said, “If these allegations are true, he must step aside.”
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) argued, “If there is any shred of truth to the allegations against Roy Moore, he should step aside immediately.”
Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) said, “If there is any truth at all to these horrific allegations, Roy Moore should immediately step aside as a Senate candidate.”
Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) said, “I’m horrified and if this is true he needs to step down immediately.” Murkowski also said that she spoke to Luther Strange about becoming a write-in challenger to oppose Moore in the December 12 election.
Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) said, “It was very troubling … if what we read is true and people are on the record so I assume it is,” adding that “Moore should step aside.”
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) tweeted on Thursday, “The allegations against Roy Moore are deeply disturbing and disqualifying. He should immediately step aside and allow the people of Alabama to elect a candidate they can be proud of.”
The Roy Moore campaign said in a subsequent statement that if the allegations were true, they would have surfaced during his previous campaigns. “This garbage is the very definition of fake news,” he added.

AL age of consent law in the 70s was 12. Moore was unmarried at the time. Also there’s no accusation of rape or assault.

For one thing, he was busted for this immediately, within 24 hours of the first hint of scandal. Another thing is the MSM simply is not the monster it was a few months ago. They simply can't sell the BS they way they used to. People know they are lying and they never truly recovered from their false polling scandal with "President Hillary". People will never see them quite the same way again. Another big thing is the alternative true media and the massive number of the younger generations crushing it with their views on the matter. They will be worthy keepers of the torch of liberty in the future and I cannot tell you how grateful I feel to be able to post that thought.
This whole scandal stinks of Mitch McConnell's twice used Depends diapers. It is singularly clumsey, rickety narrative that immediately has the feel of GROP-E fiasco all over it.

Look at it from McConnell’s side. When you consider that taking our Moore not only removes a potential thorn in his side but also takes out Bannon at the same time then you quickly realize that there can be no other source for this information but the GOP establishment.
Perhaps someone ought to find some backward chromosome deficient individual in Kenfu#ky and have her claim Mitch showed her his banjo in 1968......lol?

It is so obviously a set-up. How many times did Moore run for statewide office that did not involve being in DC? And 38 years of silence encompassing all of those campaigns-all of that public exposure?

Absolutely. There have been rumors about McConnell's military service and discharge for decades. A well funded opposition research effort needs to be launched to destroy Mitch. He is the enemy and is a principal member of the never Trump movement. The Uniparty intends to destroy all who threaten their power. Blow job Mitch needs to go.
America can not go on like this. Taking down Moore in this way at this time must be answered for. Only one group in America, at present, is playing hardball...at some point we’re going to have to get in the game and defend America. I’d bet my very life, right now that Moore is innocent.
