It looked like a GOOD dose of rain for y'all on the radar when I checked this afternoon. I hoped it would move far enough north to give us a little but it just won't do it. We did get a little rain while I slept, though. A whoppin' .05 an inch.

It was a raw day here. Cloudy, windy, a misty drizzle, and never got out of the 40s. Not a fun day for grocery shopping but it had to be done.

Now getting a little entertainment from stoopid kittehs as they play with an empty Kleenex box. Pippin had his head stuck in it a couple of minutes ago.

LOL! Those silly kittehs! They do love boxes even when they are too small to get into. I think they’re remembering how it was when they were tiny things! Those two are gorgeous!

Peaches did that same thing a week or so ago. I had to get him out of the predicament before he destroyed a room. :)

We let them have the empty Kleenex boxes regularly. They have a ball with them and it’s good for a laugh.

That’s Pippin with his head in the box and his brother, Peregrin, picking on him. He was popping the side of the box with his paw which is why Pippin was reaching out with his. They, their sister, and their momma came from next door last year. After Hubby’s cousin’s wife passed away, he didn’t want to keep them so we took them in.

I did rescue Pippin after I snapped the pic. :-)

Good evening, radu...catching up on the sleep? Did your sale turn a good profit?

We made it thru today....checks cut only an hour late, but everyone is fried. I quit last night at 2am. It paid off in getting all but one correction made.

I sent an email about one guy’s rate of pay, but no answer. So he got paid at what I think is his old rate. His rate was supposed to go up starting 10/23, but the summary sheet they sent me is at his old rate. If they hold to 10/23, he will get paid the difference on his next check.

I’m starting to fade already and it’s only 8p.

Lessa (momma) is an orange tabby with white and Arabelle is the cute little calico you liked a lot. I have no idea what daddy looked like to give the two boys that pretty creamy-yellow coloring but they do stand out.

Lessa ...

... and Arabelle

Hey there, Kathy.

All caught up on sleep and yes, we did really well with the sale.

It sounds like you need a little sleep catch-up after the past two days. They hit y’all pretty hard at the last minute and left you busting your butts. Y’all did great being only an hour late cutting the checks!

All systems still “go” for your brother’s arrival tomorrow?
