>>The psychologist added that store workers are most at risk for being worn down by the catchy beats. She states that hearing the same songs over and over each day make workers struggle to tune it out and they become unable to focus on anything else.
As opposed to nauseous ad nauseum spins of taylor swift, katy kerry, et al like I hear in many shops and fast food places? Ugh.

My boss started on the 2nd. Luckily I have an extensive punk and metal library to block it.

Wal-mart already has Christmas displays up.
Back in the day, Johnny Carson got irritated at one of his sponsors for putting Christmas ribbons around the onstage appliances before Thanksgiving. During the live commercial break, he left his desk, went onto the set and ripped the ribbons off mid-commercial. It was hilarious.

Every time I hear Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas is You”, it makes me want to take out my flamethrower.

No mention of “Dominick, the Italian Christmas Donkey”. I heard that once a few years ago and still convulse at the memory.

This is the first shrink I’ve agreed with since Bob Hartley.
constant Christmas music is great starting December 23. There are only so many Christmas songs and far fewer good ones so they are overplayed on hourly rotation

Well, I'd go with "Do They Know It's Christmas?". Between the irony of singing Christmas songs to Muslims, and Bono screeching:
"Tonight Thank God It's Them, Instead Of YOOOOOOOOOOU....." ... I could see where that would be injurious to your mental health.
But otherwise? Scrooge Lives.

I heard Dominick the Donkey for the first time about 3 years ago. Had no idea it was 50 years old.

Well hey, if it wasn’t for that song, I wouldn’t have known that it doesn’t snow in Africa at Christmastime.

Well, there's that, I suppose.
Vapid, navel-gazing, self-absorbed British twits. Whatta lousy song. Not one redeeming thing about it, at all.
