Hannity Reporting tonight Sessions has not recused himself from Uranium One (vanity)
11/3/2017 | Me

Did not see this posted but Hannity said on his show several times this evening he's received confirmation Sessions has not recused himself from any Uranium One investigation...not that it really matters nor is it really something that can be considered a positive considering Sessions short track record...

If Chris Christie was the AG he would be on TV every night running his mouth about ongoing investigations and pending indictments. And every indictment the DOJ brought in those cases would be thrown out of court. But, hey -- it makes for great theater for all of the folks here who see a Federal investigation as a WWE match.

Good point about the attention span and focus of those fans complaining the loudest about not getting TV results ...

I’m an ardent Trump supporter and I believe Sessions did a disservice to the country in recusing himself and in refusing to go full Rico on the Clinton crime syndicate.

He left PDJT with absolutely no cover and lets the opposition run all over Trump with Mueller.

PDJT is disappointed with Sessions and so am I.

There’’s no grand reverse logic 3d chess going on here with Mueller and all the pro Clinton prosecutors he’s lined up. They’re just waiting for the best timing to raise the pot to boiling before the 2018 election.

"the architect of Trump’s Presidency" Say what? Please clarify how Sessions is the “architect” of Trump’s Presidency?!?"

He is talking out of his arse trying to defend Sessions. We have had plenty of such hope-and-dream rubbish leading to nowhere when Canckle was "investigated" by Congress. I am wondering who has become the most sickening, Sessions or his apologists?

Comets report and conclusion of “excessive carelessness” is enough for the first indictment. Let’s get busy

“Sessions detractors need to relax, find some inner strength and get some patience! He’s got this... as does the President. They are in simpatico. Trump’s tweets that sound like he’s irked with Sessions’ alleged inaction are theatre -— and signals. And I do not think we’ll be disappointed at all.... The libs love this discontent. Don’t give those anti-American pieces of crap the satisfaction!! EFF THEM! Sessions is on our side, and he is NOT compromised.”

agreed. Trump’s just F-ing with the media: he doesn’t need to communicate any “displeasure” with his minions via twitter. He can talk to them directly as often as he desires, and if that doesn’t work and they really are not doing what he wants, then he can simply replace them.

Besides, Jeff Sessions has been a law-and-order guy from day one, and there’s no reason to think that sitting in the big chair has changed him overnight into some namby-pamy squish.

Assuming there are things being investigated because they are worth investigating, the investigations will not be quick because the Clintons and their associates are very experienced and very clever criminals, and it will be difficult to establish a bulletproof court case where their fingerprints are found on some financial quid pro quo smoking gun.

My assumption about most of those here who keep attacking Session is that they are surreptitious anti-Trump trolls, and Sessions is an easy target since head law enforcement officials like him simply HAVE to remain silent about ongoing investigations. Jeff Sessions knows this quite well and the man has rightfully remained silent as a Sphinx.

Time will tell how well Jeff Sessions performs as Attorney General. Our country suffered terribly under obama’s rein for EIGHT years; I think we should have the patience to give Jeff Sessions the benefit of the doubt for a couple more years

Unfortunately even with this goal Sessions is useless !

I don’t know whether he has been threatened or bought, but the end result is the same.
He has been compromised.

We need someone who cannot be bought. Someone with the courage of a lion.

We need Rudy as AG !

I love FR, but some of you (a lot of you, actually) need to get over your ASSUMPTIONS about Sessions. It’s ridiculous.

Assumptions? What part of Sessions' recusal statements, under oath that he gave before Congress don't you understand?

Please support our President!!! When you slam Sessions, you’re slamming Trump!!

No, actually, folks here are simply mirroring Trump's criticisms of Sessions. When you criticize those criticisms, you are criticizing Trump.

“Sessions is on our side, and he is NOT compromised.”

I gave Sessions plenty of time to show his true colors. I think he has.

Sessions is a charter member of our irredeemably corrupt and depraved political class, and that is all that can be expected from him.

“a president isn’t supposed to get involved with the DOJ, the FBI, etc”

Why the Hell not? FDR certainly did.

You know, the Democrats have figured out an ingenious way to stay out of trouble. Simply look in the phonebook for someone who sounds Russian, call them or better yet, meet them, say hello, then leave.

Sessions wont touch them from that point forward.

Then I seriously doubt this confirmation. Because Uranium One does involve Clinton, even if it also involves others.

Sessions has not done a single thing. No search warrants, no interviews of DNC personnel or Hillary...nothing.

This is key.

All of those who are telling us there's some secret back channel investigation going on -- where's even the remotest evidence of this???

We would most certainly have heard of somebody being interviewed. We would most certainly have heard of at least one search warrant. We certainly heard about Manifort's.

This is Washington. There are no secrets in Washington. Someone, somewhere would be leaking at least breadcrumbs. There's been nothing here at all.

Sessions is worthless. It's his fault for starting this entire mess, and it's his fault that it continues. Worse, it's his fault that Trump is under constant bombardment from the left. There's no better defense than a good offense. I can guarantee, the snakes would be backing off very quickly if some heat was thrown in their direction.

Agreed. I was satisfied with his initial appointment, but as Trump has said if there was even a possibility he was going to constantly recuse himself he should have never taken the job. Again as you said now Trump is being forced to withstand this constant Russia bombardment from the media, which he will never now escape the stigma of, even if he is found completely innocent. Trump was betrayed, and now looks weak with his constant Twitter whines he that doesn't control the DoJ, which are now starting to irritate even his core supporters for a variety of reasons. Policy wise he has made some good progress, but Justice wise the swamp is as deep as ever.
