Trump: Many people are disappointed in the Justice Department, 'including me'

President Trump doubled down on his call for the Justice Department to investigate Democrats on Friday after a former Democratic National Committee chair acknowledged the party tipped the scales in Hilary Clinton's favor during last year's primary.

Trump told reporters outside the White House that he is “disappointed” in the Justice Department for not investigating Clinton, reiterating that he believes the agency should do something.

“I’m really not involved with the Justice Department. I’d like to let it run itself, but honestly, they should be looking at the Democrats," he said.

“They should be looking at Podesta and all of that dishonesty, they should be looking at a lot of things, and a lot of people are disappointed in the Justice Department, including me,” he said.

In an excerpt of her new book, former DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile wrote about a deal between Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the DNC aimed at keeping the party financially viable.

The deal wasn't illegal, Brazile wrote, but it "sure looked unethical." The former DNC chair said it “broke [her] heart” to find “proof” that the primary between Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) was rigged.

Trump has tweeted several times about the Democratic deal since an excerpt of Brazile’s book was published by Politico on Thursday, calling it “illegal” and bringing back his nickname for Clinton, “Crooked Hillary.”

Well, Mr. President, if you're so disappointed, why don't you do something about it? Last time I checked, you were their boss.

None of this has anything to do with peddling small amounts of marijuana or citizens standing up for their god given rights protected by the US Constitution. Why Sessions or the would the DOJ even Care??

I think he is laying the groundwork to do just that, assuming they don't respond to the pressure he is putting on them

Mr President

You and You alone can De-Classify and Publicly Release ALL Classified Information the Executive Branch has regarding Uranium One.

If they won’t investigate or prosecute then MAKE IT PUBLIC!

The Republicans in Congress have tied his hand. They told him if he fires Sessions, they will not approve a replacement.

I think it's all a staged act (Trump's "outrage" over DOJ).

Think about it. Trump could easily fire Sessions or ask him to resign. He has not done so. So Trump must therefore be satisfied with the job he is doing. Trump even met with Sessions on Monday and it appeared to be a convivial meeting.

So why all the drama?

Trump is probably trying to create a public perception of inaction at the DOJ in order to conceal the action really going on at the DOJ. This is "Art of War" stuff.

If I end up being wrong and DOJ is really doing nothing, then Trump will have let me down because he has the power to do something about it. But I'm thinking Trump is not going to let me down. He hasn't yet.

If I had twitter I would send your response to DT. There comes a time where getting the job done surpasses loyalty to your employee.

Sessions is clearly not up to the job of draining the swamp.
