I think it's all a staged act (Trump's "outrage" over DOJ).

Think about it. Trump could easily fire Sessions or ask him to resign. He has not done so. So Trump must therefore be satisfied with the job he is doing. Trump even met with Sessions on Monday and it appeared to be a convivial meeting.

So why all the drama?

Trump is probably trying to create a public perception of inaction at the DOJ in order to conceal the action really going on at the DOJ. This is "Art of War" stuff.

If I end up being wrong and DOJ is really doing nothing, then Trump will have let me down because he has the power to do something about it. But I'm thinking Trump is not going to let me down. He hasn't yet.

Sorry, you are dreaming. The Democrats and careerist Never Trumpers in the DOJ are doing no MAGA. Guaranteed.

I agree with your assessment. Remember Trump comes from the entertainment business too, not just commercial real estate. This is all a show and psy ops, in my opinion.

“I think it’s all a staged act (Trump’s ‘outrage’ over DOJ).”

I hope you’re correct, and that it’s just theater. I hope they surprise all of us by holding a 20-person perp walk one of these days. If that could happen on 11/8/17, it would make our celebration of the election 1,000 times sweeter.

What lends some credence to your post is that President Trump has a well-established track record of posting Twitter comments and “complaints” about things that aren’t even within the purview of the target of his message. The DNC, for example, could rig their primary process from top to bottom and turn it into a complete farce ... and there’s nothing about it that would warrant a criminal investigation. The NFL is another example. Who the hell cares if they mismanage and destroy their own business?

I think you are just whistling past the graveyard. Trump has failed us on this one key issue: justice.

The real truth is that if Clinton, Comey, Lynch et al go down, they are going to bring everyone down because they have dirt on just about everybody.....Republicans too.

Everyone in congress knows this, so they are playing a dangerous game. They are going to tolerate Trump, but they have ensured that NO ONE will be prosecuted. They simply have outmaneuvered Trump on this. The “law and order” candidate is powerless, because everyone in congress is guilty and covering their own asses.

You have no more reason to respect the Congress, the FBI, or the CIA.....They are all nothing but a big crime syndicate now. The sooner we all realize this, we can start living our lives appropriately.

I agree with you and think the tweeting about the DOJ is a sideshow.

Sessions said to Grassley that there had already been convictions in the Uranium One bribe scandal. Sessions wouldn’t comment further on that investigation and he didn’t say he recused from that investigation.

My theory is Trump knows what’s coming down and he wants to seem out of the loop when it happens. Of course the Dims will blame Trump’s tweets for putting pressure on DOJ to pursue charges. That is a given.

Also remember Christopher Wray is the new FBI director, and he is in the hen house.

Firing 2 AG’s is fodder for a hanging.

Lying is not a Trump characteristic. Pretending out loud to be frustrated with Sessions’ vacating his job, while actually in cahoots with him, would be a colossal lie, top to bottom.

I think (and hope) you are correct. Trump has been a man of action on every other issue, so I find it hard to believe he is just sitting back & doing nothing on this front also. Trump is no fool. I think Sessions & who knows who else, have been working on this by building an air-tight case. This is big & needs to be solid.

Yesterday, we heard that Mueller had FBI agents helping him look into Podesta. Where did those FBI agents come from? Session's DOJ. So he has to be working on this.

The trap is about to be sprung.

Sessions has publicly recused himself. He's done multiple recusals.

Trump has publicly stated that he thinks that the AG isn't doing enough.

Congress has warned and threatened Trump not to dismiss Sessions.

Circumstantial evidence points to Rosenstein and Mueller needing to be investigated for the Uranium One deal coverup.

Enough please with "this is all a staged act".

This is a distinct possibility. But he’d better not wait too long. Jebbie is spilling the beans that DJT will be ousted by DECEMBER (of this year)! : )

Either there is something going on behind the scenes, or Trump is really stupid. Which do you suppose is more likely?

So why all the drama?

I kind of liken Trump to a rodeo clown...in a good way. While he's out there taunting the bull (the press and dems)...the cowboys are getting away...Justice and FBI are working like crazy behind the scene.
