Skin Color Research Confirms Biblical Narrative
by Jeffrey P. Tomkins, Ph.D. *
People over the ages have placed great emphasis on race and skin color. Eugenicist-minded Darwinists have used it as the basis for much ill-conceived mischief.1 Even Darwin himself proposed that darker-skinned human populations were more primitive. However, we now know that all people groups share the same basic genome comprised of a well-documented set of common genetic variants. Darwin was mistakenno people group is more primitive than another.

Yes.
Interesting story livius! Can you send me references? I have an interest in Genesis and this sounds like something valuable to investigate.
Many do, and some made the ultimate sacrifice to keep it that way.
Making it harder to immigrate will make that process and becoming a citizen all the more precious.
No more anchor babies, either.
Being half Hungarian I wonder about my 8th cousins having lived under Russia. I wondered if I would have been a believer in the lie had I been born there.
I also don’t consider anything I can’t take with me when I pass, mine, although I do consider myself a steward of it and like a good steward, if He entrusts me with it, I have the right to protect it. :)
Please stop with the theo-fiction. Leave that to Dan Brown.
He's not? Then why is is all scripture read through his prism in the Catholic Church, to the extent that whole libraries of ancient Catholic works have been tossed in the trash because "they didn't understand then what we understand now?" He may not be officially a saint, but in reality he's a bigger saint than all the others.
Kindly do not respond to me again without addressing the elephant in the room: whether or not the mere fact of their narration means that all the events described in Genesis must be historically true and accurate. What is it with you Catholics that you can believe anything except that?
I’ve seen it too many times with Nature vs Nurture, nature wins out. Yes, nurturing in a more stimulating environment can bring about the potential but there are still differences. Too many times, the individual doesn’t want the opportunity that’s given him or doesn’t care to excel or despite everything will doggedly go down the wrong path.
Colin Kaepernick is an example.
Genesis begins with: re'shiyth 'elohiym, bara' 'eth shamayim 'eth 'erets.
You presume a universal survey of Catholic teaching which you do not possess.
You Catholics are wrong because you believe X.
We dont believe X.
Wrong again. Yes you do.

Haven't you heard of all the Nobel prize winners in Physics, Chemistry, and Medicine of african heritage?
no people group is more primitive than another
Now this is a weird statement.
Actually they weren’t. Nubia was building cathedrals with frescos when much of northern Europe was pushing berries up their noses.

Christian Nubia was destroyed by Muslims.
Ethiopia also has some old and amazing architecture...look up the churches of Lalibela.
bump
LOL...I had forgotten that!
We do and we want to keep it.
Until you answer my questions about Genesis 1-11 I will respond to you no further. Your refusal to do this leads me to assume that you believe Genesis 1-11 is indeed “mythology” and that to accept its historical truth and accuracy is inherently un-Catholic.
This is a one-note samba with ZC. And a tiresome one at that.
So Humani Generis not seeing any way to reconcile polygenesis with the Scripture...that’s “worshiping Darwin” to you? Reading all Scripture through his prism?
Weren’t rabbinic students specifically forbidden to study Genesis 1 until they reached a certain level of theological mastery? Have you reached that level? Are you even qualified to, as a Noahide?
You don’t get to define Genesis 1, ZC. Period, end of story. You don’t get to do it either way—as a liberalizing mythologizer or as a rigid literalist.
The text is God’s, and it means what God says it means, not what you or I say it means.
Now to what degree that is historical or not—and I am definitely on the side of historicism myself against liberal Catholics—I am willing to heed Him in the matter, and His Church as Mater et Magistra. Not you.
I think Genesis 1-11 is historically true but when all the filler materials left out are revealed(and as hinted at from genesis 3 and on to the tower of Babel).. all of us.believers are going to have our minds completely blown. Christ has many things to tell us but we can’t bear them yet!
“Darwin was mistakenno people group is more primitive than another.”
Three similar, uhhhh, social peers of ours, not too long ago in South Africa (resembling that cannibal and his buddy) boiled an eleven year old boy alive, made his mother watch, then raped and killed her.
Anyone willing to accept the proposition that “no people group is more primitive than another” must also accept that sadistic, cannibalistic rapists and murderers are their peers.
Places with high levels of multi-generational incest (e.g. Pakistan), heavy drug use/alcohol abuse (especially during pregnancy), or extreme-poverty to the extent of childhood malnutrition can have different IQ #s not related to race.
Thank you for this reply. No only is it correct but is the basis for trying to fix conditions that encourage it. Having lived in S. Africa, Madagascar and the Philippine Islands I can say from experience the people who were well fed from birth, did not suffer sexual, alcohol or drug abuse, were products of incest and/or extreme malnutrition and especially who enjoyed high value as members of a society, they were not different in any significant way from me than I from them.
If so he did a good job. Did he use Blacks as base stock and then made improvements?
