My friend, Stan Tenen, wrote a fantastic book titled: “The Alphabet That Changed the World How Genesis Preserves a Science of Consciousness in Geometry and Gesture”, whose basic premise starts from the fact that bet is the first letter.

Rabbi Michael L. Munk wrote a wonderful book titled: “The Wisdom in the Hebrew Alphabet”, and in his chapter on Beis (bet) says the “God began the Torah with it”.

So I think you are mistaken.
