Interesting coming from Linda.
Graham said under President Trump, The gloves are off.
“Hes telling the military you can go after these guys wherever they go. You can kill them when you find them, you don’t have to watch them drive away. Now hes got a chance to tell the American people, the homeland is part of the battlefield.”
Graham also noted that President Trump has changed the rules of engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan, allowing military commanders to make battlefield decisions, instead of micromanaging from the White House.
Somebody had to say it.
Take out the crayolas and color me surprised.
The Pope will yell “Foul!”
He will say “Love them till they kill you.”
I would say it is a war with sharia law proponents not a war against a religion. I think there is a big difference.
1. With whom are we at war?
2. Should we continue to let the enemy into our country?
3. What should be done to the enemy to win this war?
Thank you Senator Graham! It sounds like you see truth, and for that we say THANK YOU!
Typical Linda drivel!!
"Religious war" against WHOM, Linda?!?!
The Amish?!? The Buddhists?!? Spit it out, Linda, you gutless wonder!
Evidently Graham has been out of contact with McCain for too long.
The battle of ideas has more than one front.
One battle is the one manifested by yesterday's occurrence.
The other battle is within--a battle against the principles and ideas of the 1787 United States Constitution waged by a competing ideology which, for over a hundred years now, has sought to impose itself upon what its cultish adherents aim to be the ruins of the basic premises and protections of the Founders' Constitution, with its strict limitations on the exercise of power by government over "We, the People."
During WWII did the United States government allow and support the immigration of card-carrying Nazis into the U.S. (other than as POWs)?!?
During WWII did the United States government financially support card-carrying Nazi immigrants with welfare payments and driver’s licenses?!?
Linda’s afraid she’s going to be forced to wear a burka.
No, Senator Graham, we’re not in a religious war with Islam, as Islam isn’t really a religion. Islam must be understood for what it really is: Its not a religion, form of government, or anything recognizable to the civilized mind. Islam is a disease, an incurable disease of the mind that is highly contagious among the feeble minded and is now spreading among the worlds feeble minded at an epidemic rate. As with any disease, one cant reason with this disease, negotiate with it, or treat in a manner other than how one would treat any other incurable disease.
Past efforts to contain this disease have failed, so carriers of this Plague of Islam must now be eradicated wherever they’re found, for if they’re not, this disease could eventually end not just Western Civilization, but it could undo over 5,000 years of human civilization.
‘He is right to make sure that when somebody comes into our country from a place where radical Islam and that’s the enemy — thrives, that were going to ask extra hard questions.’
It would be interesting to know what these extra hard questions are.
Did someone bop her on the head?
Where is this flood of common sense coming from?
And can we dare to hope it might be contagious?
Every so often Graham wakes up and says something sensible. I guess that’s why the good people of SC keep reelecting him, hoping for those little flashes of common sense (and he’s actually been pretty supportive of Trump a couple of times recently).
That said, I read that the jihadi had sponsored 23 other “immigrants” from his Islamic wasteland since coming here (visa lottery) 6 years ago. A couple of them have been “interviewed” by the FBI, which as we can see does a lot of good, and have disappeared and are considered by the FBI to be “potential terrorists.”
Why do we have catch and release? And why isn’t this guy already on his way to Gitmo? He and anyone like him are, as you say, enemy combatants and have no right to be under the criminal justice system.
Hey Linda, why were we supporting these terrorists in Syria under Obama? I believe you and McCain were in on it.
I might agree with Senator Graham if Islam were a religion, but it’s not. It’s a war plan for global conquest, posing as a religion.
Just the one thing, Senator? Only one thing you could come up with? Didn't you enjoy him treating you to a game at his eponymous golf course recently? Nothing else?
