The Washington Post editorial board slammed the Latino Victory Funds vile and despicable ad and chided Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ralph Northam for not calling out that ad featuring an Ed Gillespie supporter chasing down minority children. The Latino Victory Fund pulled their ad in the wake of a terrorist attack in New York City that featured a man running several people over with a truck and reportedly shouting Allahu Akbar.
Cristobal Alex, the president of the Latino Victory Fund, said in a statement to Breitbart News, We knew our ad would ruffle feathers. We held a mirror to the Republican Party, and they dont like what they see. We have decided to pull our ad at this time. Given recent events, we will be placing other powerful ads into rotation that highlight the reasons we need to elect progressive leaders in Virginia.
The Washington Post editorial board decried the attack ad on Gillespie as vile and despicable.
The paper added, It behooves Mr. Northam, while he is offering criticism, to make clear that even though the anti-Gillespie spot was not a product of his campaign, his campaign wants no part of it.

Send these race baiting hustlers back to their country of origin and let them make their own countries great again.
“we pulled our ad because a non- white, non-republican drove over people.”
when they continue to poke the bear, they will get munched.
To quote Han Solo:
“Laugh it up, fuzzball!”
This commercial is going to backfire so badly! It won’t convince a single liberal to change his/her vote but it WILL anger fence sitters into voting AGAINST northram.
Keep up the identity politics, dnc!!!
Latinos are not known for subtlety or nuance.
Gillespie, after pulling his head out, is actually running a great campaign so far. He hit a bullseye with his ad that features a child porn convict which the punk and this Northram guy restored rights to. Apparently they (Gillespie campaign) found a felon who can’t help himself and are ramming it home (no pun intended) with TV ads. These commie Latinos were likely put up to it by the campaign or the punk himself and this is desperation IMO!
Every single legally, registered, voter in Virginia should cast their ballots for Republican, Ed Gillespie. The Obamabot, Clinton, McAuliffe, low life, America hater & his Latino/BLM, Democrat Ralph Northham will still get votes from his illegal & fraud voters.
And certainly, all of the MS-13 Latino Murder/Drug gangs will be gleefully casting their illegal votes for none other then Democrat Ralph Northam.
Go...Trump, Go Gillespie...MAGA in Virginia!!!
WaPo saddened the ad was counterproductive with normal people.
WaPo otherwise totally agrees with the viewpoint.
But they syill endorse the Democrat right?
But they syill endorse the Democrat right?
LOL! You can bet that by Monday morning they will - right on the front page.
If Ed Gillespie ends up winning, that ad will be the reason. Hell, Gillespie’s campaign should pay to air it all throughout Virginia for the next week.
Sounds like they had that mirror facing in the wrong direction.
Just remind the voters of Va. just how many illegals have killed citizens with vehicles during the reign of their current sleezeball governator.
It was on the order of the chain dragging ad against GWB in 2000.
This card was gonna be played. Hopefully the VA voter wasn’t played along with it.
One thing about the vile ad many people probably did not see was the tuck had a front tag in the form of a “Don't Tread on Me” Gadsden Flag, one of several flags under which Americans fought, bled and died during the Revolution. IOW the anti-American, unpatriotic vermin were also smearing the Revolution, George Washington, and the United States.
Running an ad aimed exclusively at Latinos is proof of how large the pool of registered illegals really is.
