Democratic power lobbyist Tony Podesta, founder of the Podesta Group, is stepping down from the lobbying shop that bears his name after coming under investigation by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.
Podesta announced his decision during a firm-wide meeting Monday morning and is alerting clients of his impending departure.
Podesta is handing over full operational and financial control to longtime firm CEO Kimberley Fritts, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the meeting. Fritts and a senior group of the Podesta team will be launching a new firm in the next one or two days. Sources said the transition has been in the works for the past several months.

You ask a good question. Here’s another good question.
Why would Trump not direct Jeff Session to FIRE Mueller? The DOJ hired him. The DOJ can fire him.
I want to hope for the best here and trust Trump knows what he’s doing.
And if things work out perfectly - Mueller will indict the Podestas, the Clintons, Obama, Comey, Lynch and a whole host of other Rats.
How or why this perfect storm starts with Manafort - I do not know.
We shall see.

It was reported earlier today, Trump and Sessions met for lunch.
From outward appearances, Sessions appears compromised when he stated he would not seek justice with so many Clinton/Obama criminals.

A lot of people here and another site I visit are utterly wedded to their pet ideas, theories and "that's the way it's always been". It's better to admit "wow, I was wrong" and wake up to reality but some don't want to. I think they will be forced to admit they were wrong as time goes on, though.
They don't get that there is BT and AT,and these are two distinct and entirely different eras.

Years ago now I posted an obscure story, no where else in the nation, ref only because it is on the banned FR list from the Detroit News that truly echoed Big-Govt/corruption ( it may have been about misspent monies for the school system in Detwaa ) and he lead with it.
