NBC ^

A federal grand jury in Washington has approved the first criminal charges in the special counsel’s investigation into Russian election interference, two sources told NBC News, marking a significant milestone in an inquiry that has roiled Donald Trump’s presidency.

Mueller's Office of the Special Counsel will make public an indictment on Monday, a U.S. official with firsthand knowledge of the process confirmed to NBC News, without disclosing the name of the target or the nature of the charges. The timing was confirmed by a second source familiar with the matter.

Speculative reporting on future events is not worth viewing.

Ahhhh, the media are salivating over this. Come Monday, it will be wall-to-wall coverage. Perfect time for President Trump to slip something by them while they are all staring intently in one direction (”Look! A squirrel!”) LOL.

Trump's heading to Asia for his big trip in the next few days... the MSM will love being able to talk about all this crap instead of his historic trip.

This greatly puzzles me . I still wonder if obama did a secret pardon. Particulars on such a move are scarce but he can do it. Although there are people that have to know if it happens

Dirty Meuller is also worried about the confidential witness who has just been cleared to testify before Congress.

Something to keep in mind here is that the jurisdiction of the case matters. I'd be interested in having a lawyer chime in on this.

From what I had read some time ago, Mueller was working with two Federal grand juries -- one in D.C. and the other in the Virginia district. The CNN report last night indicated that the indictments were issued in the D.C. court.

1. If Manafort was the target over something related to his condo financing, wouldn't he be indicted in Virginia?

2. The Virginia district of the Federal courts is also significant because that's the U.S. Attorney's office charged with prosecuting intelligence and national security cases. If Flynn was the target in an national security investigation, wouldn't an indictment be issued in Virginia instead of D.C.?

3. Dana Boente, the U.S. Attorney for the Virginia district and former Acting U.S. Attorney General (after Sally Yates was fired) announced his resignation yesterday. This doesn't seem to portend any legal trouble for him because the report said he'd remain in the post until his replacement is confirmed, but I'd find it hard to believe that this is a coincidence in light of the reported indictments. Boente was working with Mueller on whatever case was being investigated under the Virginia grand jury.

Jared Kushner is probably considered a “U.S. official” if he’s working as a White House advisor.

The real crime here, since so many can’t see the big picture, is that the Obama treason regime used the government’s corrupted alphabet groups to ‘investigate’ (Dig up dirt and spy on) a presidential candidate.

It’s Banana Republic crap. Like I said years ago, the entire fed govt is irreparably corrupt...If Trump miraculously won, there could be no normal transition. We would need treason trials and hangings on the national mall.

Roger Stone, who spoke with Manafort last night, is speaking on radio this morning.

Has anybody read any good articles explaining what the likely charges against Manafort would be and on what basis?

The effort here is to squeeze Manafort over some shady business prior to his involvement in the Trump campaign in an effort to compel Manafort into playing ball. Mueller knows there was no "collusion" so Manafort will need to make up some stuff.

Monday's arrest will have nothing to do with the 2016 presidential election. It'll be allegations of money laundering and failing to disclose foreign business dealings that took place long before.

I think they will arrest Kushner. It is rumored that he has been sidelined from the Asian trip. If the aim is to tarnish Trump he is a much better target and has made some disclosure mistakes. Could also be process crime.

The way POS Meuller works: he’s going to crucify someone for a “process crime”: after the 150th time one of his goons ask the target the same question, the target answers the same way except for two words. Bingo! Perjury! Arrest him!!

That’s how Scooter Libby was taken out.
