Maybe McCain wants his belly rubbed, and his ego stroked by the press some more. Like McCain Feingold.

[under new election legislation pushed by Sen. John McCain and two Democrats]
Could have saved a few words and just said “three Democrats”.
Besides, it would be more accurate.

This MUST be stopped. If they can regulate foreign ads, they can also regulate the free speech of Americans. So much for “Congress shall make no law...”

Could have saved a few words and just said three Democrats Just goes to prove that the Republicans were putting up closet Democrats for President against 0bama. Then again, I'm not sure what party Mittens represented...

The “Honest Ads Act”
Sounds like the Affordable Healthcare Act.
Will it apply to political ads?
Remember that McCain was part of that McCain-Feingold Campaign Reform Act, parts of which have since been shot down by various courts.

McCain continues his “scorched earth campaign”.
Hey McCain, we despised you long before Trump came into view.

I don’t remember ever seeing political ads on Drudge. I don’t use Google or Facebook, so don’t know anything about them.

I don’t know if it’s the brain cancer, his hatred of Trump, or just his innate stupidity that put him at the bottom of his graduating class and to “lose” five aircraft but the myth of John McCain as some kind of great patriot will die with him. Trump’s election has made it easier to see just what a bitter, anti-American loser McCain really is.

Just like Jeb was obviously intended to pull enough votes away for a Hillary win.
No one seriously expects a Bush to ever to be the nominee, much less elected President ever again. Been playing "the two-party" system as if it was real. In fact it is the liberal Uniparty.
They had their scripted plan to help out Sister Hillary. The most surprising couple in politics.

Whatever his problem is, I hope the capital police are keeping an eye on him. Don’t know what he’s capable of doing and he might want to go out in a blaze of something.

new legal requirements and punishments on websites with 50 million unique monthly readers that take a tiny $500 or more in political ads from one advertiser.
That would require another bureaucracy to monitor dozens of websites and millions of posts daily. That would require additional bureaucracy to review and punish.
That has the makings of a gargantuan political monstrosity.
