The Jacksonville Jaguars have apologized to local military leaders for demonstrating during the national anthem in London last month.
Jaguars President Mark Lamping sent a letter to the director of military affairs and veterans in Jacksonville saying the team was ”remiss in not fully comprehending the effect of the national anthem demonstration on foreign soil has had on the men and women who have or continue to serve our country.”

Management, the players and the coaches all knew who they were insulting and thought the media and country would back their America hating behavior.
And the thought that they never dreamed it would be an insult to the military, really we are supposed to believe that load of horse crap. They insult the country and then tell a bald face lie in their feeble attempt at an apology. To hell with them and the horse they road in on, may they all die as paupers!
This NFL team from a city with a massive Navy facility might have reached the point where they’ll be willing to lynch their protesting players on national television if they think it will get then even a half-dozen fans back.
Jacksonville Jaguars are already struggling for fans. They sure don’t need to making enemies.
These idiots took a knee for our national anthem.
But stood for God Save The Queen.
That would have been honorable..if they would have done that.
NFL = traitors, criminals, thugs, and cowards.
Well then, they just hanged themselves. That’s the cowards way out.
Most of these morons could not tell you what the stripes and stars of the American flag represent.
Nor could they tell you who their Congressman is.
Nor could they tell you the three branches of Government...
I could go on...and on....
It’s like a guy apologizing foe his 25 year old son spitting in your face NO SALE!!
That empty Jaguar stadium brings tears to my eyes...

I was already angry, but when I read the story of standing for God Save The Queen and kneeling for our own anthem in a foreign country, that took it to a whole new level. The notion that the perpetrators didn’t realize the implications is quite simply a lie. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Even someone who doesn't know the answers to those questions may know how to show respect--or disrespect. You readers may or may not know the symbolism of the British flag or how their Parliament works, but you will not, I hope, bend over and moon their flag during their national anthem.
