MGM Resorts International on Tuesday disputed Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardos revised timeline of the Oct. 1 mass shooting on the Strip.
But during an extensive Tuesday interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the sheriff stood by the revised timeline, then clarified it could change even more.
This remains an ongoing investigation with a lot of moving parts, MGM Resorts spokeswoman Debra DeShong said in the statement, released late Tuesday. As evidenced by law enforcement briefings over the past week, many facts are still unverified and continue to change as events are under review. We cannot be certain about the most recent timeline that has been communicated publically, (sic) and we believe what is currently being expressed may not be accurate.
Lombardo revised the timeline during a news conference Monday. He said police had learned that security guard Jesus Campos was shot in the hallway before at least 58 people at the Route 91 Harvest festival were killed and nearly 500 were injured. Police previously said Campos was shot after the attack on the concert crowd.

What am I missing here. That guard knows if he was shot before or after the shooting started. Did no one ask him?
I don’t see any advantage or reason to lie about the particulars given. I also notice that MGM offers no alternative timeline, and they don’t say what they “dispute”.
Weird.
Gee...it’s almost like the timeline is a SCRIPT that is undergoing revisions. Curious...
The guard and his supervisors know exactly when he was shot. So who gave the police the information, and what information do the police have that they are disputing the time he was shot? This is where I am going. I want the police to come forth with why they changed the timeline, and I want them to detail their evidence.
That's what I am thinking if the timeline is suspect then ever thing reported is suspect. At this point I don't believe anything reported other then the body count.
One would think Jeff Sessions would be taking an active roll in the deadly mass shooting ever investigation. Apparently not, so just what is our Attorney General doing?
The shooter’s clothing and skin was covered with powder from all the shooting. The guard would be the same if he had fired hundreds of rounds. Powder literally embeds into clothing and skin when you shoot that much.
Assuming this new timeline is true, I am starting to think the bigger picture plan went out the window once the security guard heard the drilling and the gunman had to shoot. Once that happened he quickly put his plan into action and started shooting. He rushed the attack because he knew he was on the verge of getting caught or killed.
This could make sense in any scenario. If he is the lone gunman he only was able to complete part of his plan in a smaller window. If others are involved his rush to shoot might have foiled say a driver who was going to park that car with explosives by the venue or by the fuel tanks.
The police better get out in front of all this information/misinformation that is floating out there if they have any hope of being viewed as credible....
There are only 3 possibilities:
1) Campos was shot before Paddock started shooting the concert attendees.
2) Campos was shot after Paddock had already shot the concert attendees.
3) Campos was shot during the time when Paddock was shooting concert attendees (in between volleys).
Campos and the maintenance guy (who was interviewed by NBC this a.m.) should know whether they heard anymore shooting after they survived Paddock’s attack. Since Campos isn’t talking and the maintenance guy did, someone should ask the maintenance guy. (I did not hear NBC ask him that question).
I am still baffled as to why Jeff Session/DOJ or the FBI would be involved at all.
I cannot find a federal crime based on what cops have told us so far.
I agree. If you look at the landscape it's almost as though LV never happened. In my comings and goings over the past week or so I can't recall anyone I've come in contrct with who has made or volunteered any statements regarding the massacre. Not even a sense of sympathy or anger or anything. I mean absolutely NO ONE. And I work with the public on an almost daily basis. Yet let one black person get shot and the whole country is in an uproar and the blacks on the street driving want to run you off the road if they see you are a white driver. And then we get flowers candles and teddy bears all over the place. And televised night vigils. Is this because the LV victims were white and country/western music lovers? So they don't count? I mean a dog getting killed by a motorist would have gotten more attention by the general public.
Apparently Sessions has recused himself from all subjects needing investigation and has joined the Ruthie Bader afternoon nap club. He is going after all this weevil pot dealers and smokers to make our country safe from corruption.
Does it seem odd that even towards the end of the video some people were just standing around, not running or looking for cover?
I did listen to the scanner and the dispatch never told the officers, hotel security tells us there is a shooter on the 132 floor. The cops find the security guard who had been shot by the elevator. Even if there were a 1000 calls to 911 during the event, they have more than 1 911 operator. The shooting went on for over 10 minutes. If the new timeline is correct, the call to 911 by the hotel should have been made before most of the other calls. It’s not like the security guard had to go find a white courtesy phone down the hallway. I would think he was in contact with his superiors through a wireless headset. After being shot at I am sure he ran/hobbled away to get out of the guys line of fire and then said help I am being shot at.
LOL, good one!

We must watch closely from here.
“We must watch closely from here.”
LVRJ is keeping a pretty close eye on things. Their reporting has been the best so far.
National media just reports what they hear in the public news conferences.
This is a MAJOR break in the wall of silence and it pits MGM against LVMPD. Both now appear to be pointing fingers at the other.
Thus, the truth will eventually emerge.
