Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday selected Judge Merrick Garland, who was nominated to the Supreme Court by former President Barack Obama, to serve as chairman of the Executive Committee of the Judicial Conference of the United States.
The chief judge of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals will oversee the committee responsible for heading the policy-making body of the federal court system. Roberts is the presiding officer of the conference and selected Garland to run the "senior executive arm" of the conference, which makes recommendations to Congress regarding legislation involving the judiciary.

I don’t think Occam’s Razor can be used to explain Roberts doing a 180 on the Ocare decision.
Something else had to be in play.
What is Garland’s problem? Why can’t he find a REAL job outside the Federal government? Is he that big of a loser?

Obama found out Robert’s children were adopted illegally and threatened to have them sent back to their country of origin.
All it would take is a letter to the right people and child welfare would show up at Roberts home and take the kids.

I had a field day a week ago about some Freepers who think Roberts is now “off the puppet strings” by his handlers. He is still being used.

I have to admit I paid little attention to Roberts appointment at least compared to Bork and Thomas.
