California can now start jailing people that refuse to use the preferred gender pronouns of nursing home residents after Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown signed the bill Thursday.

Despite some here not agreeing, the 14th amendment made the bill of rights apply to the states.

Sorry, you do not have a Constitutional right to determine what pronouns others “must” use to refer to you, and demanding you do IS a denial of very basic Constitutional protections of freedom of speech. Because you are bothered by some word, is NOT a Constitutional protection from that word being used.
I would like to get arrested for this in California. I would ask my lawyers to ask the SCOTUS that I be allowed to speak at the SCOTUS myself, when the case gets there.
