When House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) was asked on Tuesday about the status of the suppressor legislation (Sportsmens Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act), which had passed a House committee last month and was headed for a vote on the floor, Ryan was disingenuous: That bill is not scheduled now. I dont know when its going to be scheduled. Ryan's response was disingenuous because, as speaker of the house, he is the one responsible for scheduling such votes.
RINO Representative Chris Collins (a Republican from New York with a Freedom Index rating of just 53 out of 100), agreed: I think it is safe to say in our Republican conference, you are not going to see those bills [the 'suppressor' bill or the national reciprocity bill] moving forward."

Both of these bills should have been on Trump’s desk on January 20, just like Obamacare repeal. It is a metaphysical certainty that if the Dems suddenly had control of the Presidency, House and Senate after many years in the wilderness, they’d pass every wet-dream piece of legislation they could think of in a week.
I blame Ryan and McConnell for ALL of this. They both need to be replaced. Actually, they need to be tarred and feathered, and then hung and quartered, but I’ll settle for replacement.
The RINOs agenda is going forward just as expected while having house and senate majority...absolutely no accomplishments. Perfect.
They should have been on Trump’s desk long ago. You’re right.
I’d like to see them as the first bills to reach a vote - with the bumpfire legislation added. We can always repeal the bumpfire nonsense later, but blending bumpfire while it’s in the news with suppressor and national reciprocity laws in one bill could give us a net win with the nearly inevitable useless legislation.
It would be foolish to schedule a vote when there is a great chance that the bill would defeated because if it was there would be no re-scheduling. Are you convinced there are too few gutless Republicans so the bill would pass?
Timing is the art of champions and this was not the time.
Besides there is no educational effort to explain just what this bill would do so people won’t support it if they do not understand that.
You could say, “perfect timing”.
See tagline.
These bills have NOTHING to do with the Las Vegas shootings Get a FKN backbone and do what you were elected to do.
The shooter didn’t kill them...the cowards did.
Suppresors lead to carbon fouling of the weapon, someone using it in mass shooting would have to stop and dump lube into the bolt carrier. Suppresors aren’t a mass shooters friend
We need to get back to constitutional American law in this country. After obama it won’t be easy. Abolish aTF. Adopt a simple flat type tax and abolish 95 percent of IRS. Abolish tsa and let airports take responsibility for policing their own premises. Abolish 3/4 of EPA -.- a plausible but poorly defibed idea that’s gotten way out of hand. You can add many more now-—
We need to get these “ever which way the wind blows” faux republicans out of office.....NoW!
Ryan forgets that gun owners are voters ,lots of voters
Democrats don't act like losers when they're in power. Hell, even out of power, they're still calling the shots! Hillary Clinton made one comment about silencers and Paul Ryan buckled.
His district has a lot of Democrats. His hometown, Janesville, once had a GM plant and is also the hometown of Russ Feingold.
W...T...F??!!!

You're talking Logic and Science but..
the 'gun control' bunch are operating on EMOTION and FEELINGS !
You can't successfully argue against tears and sorrow, and expect to win the arguement
because these people aren't thinking straight.
