The co-host of FN1’s Undisputed, former NFL player Shannon Sharpe, went on a hateful rant on Friday in regards to the anti-American NFL National Anthem protests, angrily arguing that the American flag is no big deal anyway, that it’s just a “piece of cloth” that “nobody fights for” and that it’s a symbol that’s somehow “racist” to boot.
“The flag, you see, to a lot of people, symbols, patriotism but what does that symbol actually mean?” Sharpe asked stunned co-host Skip Bayless. “What does — what does – okay — you keep telling me that the flag means so much and it’s opportunity and freedom and liberty. Okay. Can you honestly say that everybody in America has freedom and liberties and opportunity?”
“No,” Bayless calmly answered.
“Well, if you can’t can’t answer that, then we have a problem and we would like to have it addressed,” Sharpe shouted.
Shannon Sharpe, a former NFL tight end who spent all but two of his 12 seasons with the Denver Broncos, continued his hateful rant against the flag:
“And stop trying to sweep it under the rug. But, see, as long as you paint that narrative, oh, it’s the Anthem, I can’t — no — anybody that does something to the Anthem — well, we know what the anthem was originally written for and who it was written by, okay? The flag, okay? We understand what the flag? What does it represent?
When did this narrative come to be that the military and the police own the flag and only them? I can go buy a flag and I can hang it up in my backyard. We need to stop this, Skip. We need to — the flag is a piece of cloth and nobody fights for a piece...”

That is the truth! They say their unhappiness is all our fault and we have to fix it! They cannot tell us what "it" is and when you ask, they all have different issues. You are right, they hate this country but they do not want to leave and cannot or will not tell us what they do want.

From what I have been seeing I am afraid many of them do have this view. The liberals teach them to blame whites, and especially conservatives for all their problems to keep them voting Democrat.
This has been going on a long time, and the liberals control public schools and have been using the schools to teach them that we are responsible for their problems, and we need to fix them. They are expected to have no personal responsibility.
That is why liberals are so hateful to minorities that are conservative. They do not want them “tainting” or educating other minorities about how to take responsibility and do what it takes to change their life. That would ruin the Democrat agenda.
Social media has been crazy with liberals saying people are completely out of touch if they don’t know exactly what the reason is that the players are protesting during the National Anthem. Yet I have seen so many post and say so many different reasons I am pretty sure they don’t know.
You are absolutely correct. Great point! Gang members will murder over disrespect for gang colors. If they didn't understand the significance of gang colors they can't survive in some areas so even if they aren't connected to a gang they understand. They are being too cute.
Yes the flag of our country is much more significant to us. I don’t think it is to those that are protesting and their supporters however. I think to them gang colors are more significant.
Yes they hate the USA, they hate our flag, our National Anthem and do not consider them theirs. They hate whites, they hate pretty much everything we have done, are doing, or might do.
Little Rocketman Kim will smile when he reads this. He may attack in the belief that its true and Americans have become pussies who will not fight for the rag of a flag or Trump, whom the media keeps saying is hated by all. Such words inspire attack. This person will have blood on their hands when Rocketman takes out Pearl Harbor, LA and San Diego and knocks out all electrical power west of the Mississippi. It will take us Years to rebuild—if we ever do. After this America will be a second rate state like France or England.
They do not plan to leave. They want to get rid of us because they think that will solve all of their problems. They have been taught that conservatives- white people and in fact even minorities that are conservative are to blame for all of their problems. The truth is they hate all white people but to them white liberals are useful idiots for now.

Shows how much I no longer watch those shows. Because I was watching the Astros in the playoffs on FS1, I saw several promos for mush-mouth's show with Bayless. I also saw that Fox has Michael "Dog-Murderer" Vick on an NFL pre-game show as well. As Trump would tweet: "Sad!"
My dog is smarter than Sharpe.
