O.J. Simpson Parole Board in the Dark About Spousal Battery Conviction
TMZ ^ | 9/26/2017 1:50 PM PDT

O.J. Simpson might not have been paroled had the Nevada Parole Board been officially informed that he had been convicted of spousal battery in 1989 ... but the board never found out.

The Board just said they had never been told that Simpson pled no contest to beating Nicole Brown Simpson on New Year's Day, 1989. Simpson punched and kicked her, pulled her hair and screamed, "I'll kill you." He slapped her so hard a handprint was left on her neck. He was placed on probation for 24 months.

They do know he was found guilty of killing Nicole and Ron in a civil suit right?

The parole board must have been visiting Mustang Ranch.

Hmmm...The NFL would have given him a 4-game suspension if he had still been playing?

Was this info used during his murder trial?

Maybe they just watched the Naked Gun movies and some old USC football games and called it a day.

Wasn’t there an attorney representing the state there?

That person should have provided all this information to the parole board.

Members of the public may be able to write a “friend of the court (parole board) letter too, and provide documentation concerning all these issues.

Would have suited me fine to see him remain in prison for years longer.

“O.J. Simpson might not have been paroled had the Nevada Parole Board been officially informed that he had been convicted of spousal battery in 1989”

Nonsense. That information has been public, well known and available for decades. Unexcused.

I remember her sister TRYING to get Nicole help. In this shot, it looks like he tried to twist her d@mn arm off! Her SISTER systematically documented the abuse Nicole suffered at the hands of this MONSTER. And, of course, when the abused spouse FINALLY breaks away from her abuser? Bingo.

I remember when those 911 calls were kept out of the California trial, ‘cause they might inform, er, I mean prejudice the jury.

Why can’t we all hear them now????

There was an interesting TV special about the Civil suit. Very condemning. Amazing that he beat the criminal case.

he beat the murder rap because the jury was almost all black and the defendant was black...enough...

he's guilty of killing two people and he knows it and so do his shyster lawyers...

What are you talking about? The glove didn’t fit. Another innocent black man put in prison by whitey. Hopefully Mike Tomlin will stay down on his knees a little longer tonight for the juice.

I wonder about the intelligence of the white women that date these black men that are violent and immoral. Why do they even stay with them?

Money? No Daddy in the home? The prestige of being married to an athlete? And, of course, Stockholm Syndrome, eventually. :(

One of my best girlfriends of 35+ years was a Cheerleader and she married the Quarterback after we all graduated from High School.

He used to beat the crap out of her...and NONE of us in her inner circle even knew it! Luckily, she had four big brothers that got wind of it.

(I’m not saying just HOW they found out.) *WINK*

And her divorce was a breeze and he NEVER bothered her again!

A lot of women aren’t that lucky, where they have Genuine Alpha Males in their lives to help them with stupid youthful mistakes.

She ended up career Army. Retired as a Major. She is one of the most awesome, upstanding women that I know. She later married, has two GORGEOUS daughters, both athletes and both married to decent men.

Sometimes there’s a Happy Ending. *HEART*
