Professors at an upstate New York university will “take a knee” tomorrow in a show of solidarity with protesters across the country.
“Scores of Cornell faculty members” will get down on one knee on the school’s Arts Quad on Wednesday in order to “bring awareness to issues including police violence against black Americans,” according to The Cornell Daily Sun. The organizers of the event “hope [they] will be joined by students and members of the Ithaca community.”

Oh, we are aware of it. Every single time it happens, it's all over the national news. It does happen a couple times a year. Sometimes, it's even unjustified and cops get arrested.
What other things should we be aware of, professors? Maybe we should be aware of your desire to be made to feel relevant and important? You like attention?
More acts of disrespect form those who cannot respect this country and what it has stood for all these years and would like to destroy it.
If they had any integrity at all they would have looked up the facts before revealing their ignorance.

If I had a kid these days, I’d make them learn and practice a trade for a while, before/instead of University. Even if they went on to college, at least they’d have gained some protective, real-life common sense, against all the silliness and brainwashing. I can’t imagine what returning Vets go through on these campuses.
I miss the days when they would just wear yellow or rainbow colored wrist bands...

That’s what I’m doing with my grandson....he got 2 years Assoc Degree...and I discouraged him from going on to University. He’s currently working construction (his Dad, my son, is the Operations Manager at this company)...learning about hard work, along with a lot of Mexicans, by the way. I’m proud he is working...can’t say that about a couple of his half-siblings.
And, PS....the majority of his education would be paid for (his great, great, great Uncle left him some dollars, in MY control.)
