The disgraced ex-congressman broke down crying as he was sentenced to 21 months in prison Monday for convincing a high school student to undress and touch herself via Skype in 2016.

“This was a serious crime. It’s a serious crime that deserves serious punishment,” Manhattan federal judge Denise Cote said as the convicted sext fiend dropped his head into his hand and wept.

After the courtroom cleared, the one-time mayoral hopeful sat crying silently in his chair alongside his tearful mother

Yes, that seems like a rather flaccid excuse...

He doesn’t get a full pension. A Fox article back in 2011 said he could start drawing on his conngressional retirement once he hits age 56. If he waits until 62, he is eligble for $37K a year.

Does this mean hummus’s nanny will be taking care of their son full time?

I think the time to “get affairs in order” is over.

It’s jumpsuit time for Weiner.

Barbara: [whistles] Nice butt. That’s what they’ll say.
Ken Kessler: I beg your pardon?
Barbara: Nice butt. That’s what they’ll say on your first day, in the men’s club.
Ken Kessler: The men’s club?
Barbara: Mmm. The San Quentin Country Club. With a cute little rear end like that, you’ll be the belle of the ball. Your dance card’ll be filled every day. You’ll be so popular, making all kinds of new, close friends. Big, ugly, hairy friends! Not that you’ll ever see what they look like, ‘cause you’ll be facing the other way.
Ken Kessler: You’re very good at this. You should write children’s books.

Although Weiner is a sleazeball who richly deserved his epic downfall, the nation actually owes him a small debt of gratitude for his (laptop’s - computer, not actual lap) bit part in the defeat of Hillary Clinton.

It’s jumpsuit time for Weiner.

He still walked out of the courtroom a free man. I haven't been able to find a single article anywhere that states when/if he'll ever have to report to anywhere to do any time.

Weiner will be very well protected and secure from any types of assault when he's in the slammer.

Wishing otherwise won't make it so.

No, he's a democrat.

He'll never see a day behind bars.

Are you kidding me ?

They should take him away now. He’s had enough time, actually got the sentencing delayed once already.

That's what I was afraid of. That he would walk out of the courthouse and have his "day of reckoning" delayed indefinitely, which means he may never actually serve a day behind bars.

Usually when a convict is sentenced, they slap the cuffs on right in the courtroom and take you down to the jailhouse for processing.

If that didn't happen today - then that's just not right. Once again, he is getting special treatment.

Anthony Weiner was the "final straw that broke the camel's back" of Hillary Clinton's campaign--and even Hillary admitted it personally! You'd think Huma Abedin would have dumped Weiner after his failed 2013 New York City mayoral campaign, but....

If this creep has to report for sentencing at a later date, I hope he flips to the Feds, tells all about Hillary, then jumps in the East River with a lead weight.

He gets to surrender to the designated facility by no later than Nov. 6. That means he gets until nearly then to get his affairs in order. He also gets to walk in the door of the facility, instead of being prep walked in wearing cuffs.
