Clinton, in an interview airing Saturday promoting her 2016 election memoir What Happened, told MSNBC host Joy Reid she made the "original mistake" with the server at the State Department, but the media bore the blame for its coverage.
"What do you say to reporters who say, Well, the email scandal was not the media's fault, it was your fault,'" Reid asked.
"Oh, I made the original mistake, but people running for office make all kinds of mistakes," Clinton said. "I mean, Trump had a million mistakes that he made before he ever ran and that he made once he declared to run. That didn't matter."

It’s the ‘Daily Blather with Hillary Clinton’.
Lock her up
Hillary, no one likes you. GO AWAY.
Reason No. 973 why I lost the election; none of which have anything to do with me, of course.
They really should stop with the “Steve Jobs Reality Distortion” thing because they’re not very good at it.
She’s supposedly the smartest woman in the world, with the experience of 20+ political campaigns, yet she didn’t know that you always campaign as if you’re ten votes behind.
But she campaigned like Thomas Dewey, as if it was in the bag. And she lost.
Being a socialist, she blames the collective, not the individual (herself). She’ll never understand. She’ll be an asterisk in history, and the only painting she’ll have in the White House is for being somebody else’s wife. And she’ll die with that frightening feminist realization.
Multiple felonies are now called a “mistake”. I need to remember that in case I rob a bank or stop paying taxes.
Sure Harpy, they were so nice to Trump and on his side. That’s the ticket.
Maybe Hillary could get interested in some project, like “Global Warming”—although that’s taken—but there must be something she could take on—how ‘bout saving the darter fish or reviving Esperanto? Something like that.
The biggest crook ever to run for the presidency, and that’s saying something when LBJ actually was elected.
She has creepy eyes.
A friend and I were talking the other day and he mentioned that when she became first lady back in ‘92 that she was pretty cute (he said “hot”). But decades of being evil have sure taken their toll.
I’ve never really paid much attention to how big a “crook” LBJ was but he was certainly a horrible excuse for a human being.
You are correct.
There was such an attitude of feeling as she deserved the job or it was due to her, or it was her turn.
There were quite a number of Democrats that I know who were turned off by her attitude and her campaign. I’m sure most of them still voted for her, but I am pretty sure some stayed home on Election Day.
Gee, the only reason she was ever elected for Senate was for the symbolism she embodied as being someone's wife. And that was the only reason she ever ran for President.
Having never achieved anything on her own merit, but only as the sidekick of a former president, she is a horrible icon for feminism. What is her message to ambitious young women? To find a man they think is going somewhere, marry him, and ride his coattails to success? Somehow, I don't remember the feminists agitating for that back in the 1960s and 70s. In fact, it's the opposite of "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle" mentality that so many feminists had.
That's PRESIDENT Trump to you, you fat, urine and cabbage smellin' canklesaurus lesbo. Show some respect.
So typical of someone who grew up under the shadow of a very wealthy and successful but very demanding and unyielding father but had a mother who spoiled big time (at least that is my impression from what I read in “Hell to Pay”, FWIW).
The queers, blacks and communists are the only ones who are still propping up her stinking carcass.
