North Korea said on Saturday that firing its rockets at the U.S. mainland was "inevitable" after U.S. President Donald Trump called Pyongyang's leader "rocket man," in a further escalation of rhetoric between the two leaders.
North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho's remarks before the United Nations General Assembly came hours after U.S. Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers escorted by fighter jets flew in international airspace over waters east of North Korea, in a show of force the Pentagon said demonstrated the range of military options available to Trump.
"Through such a prolonged and arduous struggle, now we are finally only a few steps away from the final gate of completion of the state nuclear force," Ri told the annual gathering of world leaders.
"It is only a forlorn hope to consider any chance that the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) would be shaken an inch or change its stance due to the harsher sanctions by the hostile forces," he said.....

I think we should stir the pot and keep name calling him. I have worked with mentally ill people, eand when they’re holding a knife you don’t taunt and name call them. is it okay ion he gets off one H bomb before we destroy him. why poke the cage. it’s dangerous and unnecessary just to make everyone think he’s doing something. Name calling is juvenile, action is adult.
Dear morph,
The official stance of the United States has always been, in REACTION to being attacked. It has always been, before it’s demise, that the Soviet Union/China would initiate a nuclear exchange. The U.S. has made that decision embedded within their military planning and the effectiveness/readiness.
President Trump has made it clear, in his U.N. speech, that the U.S. maintains that stance, which means that SHOULD Kim launch one, or tow, or three, it is understood, that there will be some Americans dead, as the price of admission to the butt-whooping.
Sounds good but..... the missiles are mobile and are not necessarily gathered into one pile.

The soviet subscribed to Mutually Assured Destruction and that was proven when they didn’t start a war over the Cuban blockade. They had had 10s of millions killed in the last century and what i have read is they don’t want the US to nuke their top ten cities, which was our plan. The NKs and Iran are fanatics. Iran thinks its their moral responsibility to bring about the end of there world. Kim is mentally ill as far as I can tell or at least a megalomaniac. I favor military actions on both countries weapons programs now. I supported Israel’s p[lan to attack Iran when Obama shut them down and then of course he gave them money to continue development.
There is a difference between an evil but sane enemy and a dog nuts crazy one.
dear morph,
Sound reasoning.
re: ‘There is a difference between an evil but sane enemy and a dog nuts crazy one.’
I agree with you, and your depiction of NK and Iran.
NK citizens, even if it is propaganda, view the fat boy as a ‘god’.
