An argument broke out at a Delaware restaurant this week after a woman complained to a veteran that service dogs inside eateries are nasty.
The video shows Ciara Miller standing inside of Kathys Crab House arguing with a small group of people, including a man holding a leash of a Great Dane wearing a vest that read: PTSD service dog.
At one point a woman off camera is heard telling Miller the dogs owner is a military veteran, the News Journal in Wilmington reported.
Miller is heard responding the point is irrelevant and having an animal in a restaurant is nasty.
Im not going to keep my opinions to myself, Miller said in the video. Im going to voice it just like I did. Theres nothing you can do about it.
She said restaurants should have an area designated for service animals.
The American with Disabilities Act requires restaurants to admit patrons with service animals. In Delaware, the law is not extended to emotional support animals.
The YouTube video has been watched more than 400,000 times.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the restaurant addressed the video, calling it embarrassing.

Life is too short to have to put up with people like her.
We know, it’s just one more dog with White Privilege.
Sniff, sniff...
If hes a genuine vet, I feel for the guy but too many people abuse that service dog designation and just make it up to bring their mutt with them everywhere.
Just look at her and say “Sixty years ago they said the same thing about blacks.”
Cripes, what a nasty blabbering monster that woman is.
That being said, couldn’t somebody get a more efficient service horse than a Great Dane. :-)
Didn’t I see that dog racing at Hialeah?
Tossed it’s jockey after the last turn.
The jockey was a foot taller than this loud mouth.
Toss her a bone.
Maybe she’s threatened by asecond dog in the same establishment, when she’s there.
LOL
So many punch lines,... so little time.
Really? A fricken Great Dane? I’d complain or leave, too.
Yep. Service dogs are for blind people. I'm getting tired of all the "emotional support animal" nonsense.
The law is..... where the guy goes, the service animal goes too.
Can't we all just get along?
I don’t think you’d act out like that woman was.
Further, I doubt you’d leave.
How does that dog being there put you out, as long as it is well behaved?
Some things in life aren’t worth getting upset over.

What’s their excuse for letting her in? “:^)
Poor dogs can’t go anywhere these days without the riff raff swarming.
Sorry, I’d leave. I don’t believe animals should be sitting in a restaurant. For God’s sake, employees can’t even touch food with their bare hands and now we’re supposed to allow a 150 pound animal to dine with us? Ridiculous!
that woman was bizarre, maybe near insane...
but WHY do so many people feel they have to have an animal with them?..
we talk about priviledge and its the blacks, its the teachers, and its any vet, no matter how short a term, and of course all the disabled...
everyone has special rights and anyone who doesn't just has to put up with it...
personally, I don't want dogs in a restaurant...
people should be more sensitive to what others can accept...
what if one has a severe allergy to dog hair?....
which group wins out?....
we're making society way way too complicated with all these "special" rights that everyone and his brother seem to have...
the WW2 and the people that lived thru the depression didn't have to have dogs with them to make it thru the day....
we have become such a coddled baby society...
The dog isn’t touching the food. He’s sitting or laying there not bothering anyone.
We walk in “stuff” every day that we track into restaurants.
If you’re at the next booth or across the room, how would that bother you?
I know you’re not the only one to think along these lines. Not trying to give you a hard time.
