According to CBS, conversations between Manafort and Trump may have been scooped up in the surveillance:
Long before the special counsel began investigating Russian meddling in the U.S. election and whether anyone in the Trump campaign was involved Paul Manafort was the target of an FBI investigation. It included electronic surveillance of the one-time Trump campaign chairman....the surveillance on Manafort occurred during the 2016 presidential campaign.
According to a former U.S. official, the intercepts picked up conversations between Manafort and Russian individuals about the campaign. The intercepts potentially include conversations between Manafort and President Trump....
If the Manafort surveillance, including during the campaign and transition, picked up conversations with Trump and other campaign members, that would lend more credence to Trumps claim that he was wiretapped....
The media, of course, focuses on the precise wording of the Trump tweet in which the claim was made, but...The issue is not the wording of Trumps tweets, but what the FBI and intelligence community did to surveil Manafort and others involved in the campaign and transition.

Of course not. But that is not the point. Clearly.
My point was with the reporting using words such as, "potentially", "may", "if" and using an unnamed former US official as a source. The whole story, that Trump was heard on Manafort's wiretaps, is fake.
Perhaps next time I'll bold and italicize those items.

I’m shocked I tell you - shocked. /s
Me too... /s
If the Obama administration was conducting extensive surveillance of the Trump campaign team, and Hillary Clinton was obviously privy to some of all of the information they had (she actually mentioned it in one of the debates), then how the heck did Donald Trump win the election?
I have my own answer to this. I'd be curious to see what others think of it.
Off hand, it’s obvious Hillary, et al, assumed she had the election in the bag.
He knew he was being surveilled and “fed” them bad intel by means of that surveillance, which is hilarious to the point of utter humiliation for Obama, Hilary Clinton, the “intelligence community” such as it is and the political left as a whole. They’re willing to bring it all down in order to avoid that coming to light. They got played due to their own heavy-handedness.
I even considered an outlandish scene where Donald Trump was on the phone arguing with someone on his campaign leadership team, yelling something along these lines: "Why are you sending me to Wisconsin again? Hillary's going to kick my ass there?!" LOL.
“Man, I’m really worried about Texas, those numbers are looking really bad down there, better hope Hillary doesn’t figure it out, let’s feint and distract her by going to the Rust Belt.”
He won the election because he won the electoral college.
Right. But he won the electoral college because he won states that nobody expected him to win.
Sessions should fire Mueller and then resign.
I don’t care what Manafort has been doing or not doing. Nobody elected him to anything.
But Mueller doesn’t have to prove anything about him. He can use the corrupt and unconstitutional power he was given to financial ruin Manafort until he agrees to say anything Mueller wants him to about Trump. That is Mueller’s game - an economic rack. HE is an evil, unprincipled S.O.B. You can judge a tree by its fruits and Comey is a protégé of Mueller’s.
It is a lot like Watergate now. Nixon had the election won in a big way but his guys broke in to the DNC.
They had Trump beat by miles, so they thought, but couldn’t control themselves. They illegally wiretapped him. Obama sucks.
Bump!
Minus Cook County, IL and LA County, he won the popular vote too.
And the vote fraud in those two counties should show he won the popular vote outright.
For Mueller, the worst thing that can happen is for a target of his investigation to fire his lawyers. At that point, the guy has nothing left to lose. At best, the prosecutor has no leverage over him. At worst, the guy has no leverage over himself, either.
Pussy
As much as I like to chime in with a bit of a twist on topics and comments, I’m going to have to let you have that one.
