It’s because the dogs aren’t properly trained. I’ve been to restaurants in Germany where it looks like EVERYONE brings their trained, well-mannered dog. My favorite hotel hereabouts (USA) is dog-friendly, and if the weather’s nice you can bring your dog down with you to the patio where you will be served. To each his own.

In my Orthodox Christian parish, there is a young girl who—for some reason—needs an emotional support dog. The dog is well identified with the standard “outfit”,and looks and acts very gentle.

Our priest explained about the dog, and encouraged us to pet it. Now none of us will be offended or put off when we see an emotional support dog. We’ve received a bit of education in a reality of modern life. I’ve seen emotional support dogs in other settings, and now know what to expect.

The stupid woman in this article/video needs such education as well.

Anyway, it would be doing the world a favor but sad to say, there are millions more to take her place. Is it really impossible for them to behave themselves? They don’t all behave that way but too many do.

Well, I don’t allow my well trained and well behaved chocolate lab in the kitchen or dining room while we’re eating so why would I want to put up with other people’s dogs in restaurants? I don’t care how clean they think their dogs are, they’re still dogs and they’re naked to boot.

I’d opt for a no dog policy restaurant every time and I love dogs.

Saw this *therapy dog* in Walmart yesterday. It is no more a service dog than Rand Paul is a socialist.

Damn thing lifted its leg on a stanchion in the pharmacy dep't.

Used to be, pets in stores was a big no-no in CT; laws were strictly enforced. The lines are crossed so often, managers are afraid to confront these owners. Fraidyscared.

The woman who had the dog in Walmart, didn't even pay any attention to what the dog had done. Waddled off without any awareness.

I've seen the same thing in the grocery area. So, generally, I don't buy ANYthing on the bottom shelves.

You know, some folks from various groups have been led to believe they can’t be wrong, and to push incidents like this is what they need to do.

Frankly, when some women pull this, I wish some built young woman from the same race would punch their lights out.

Let them realize that even “their (supposed) own people” don’t like these routines.

Raising an issue is one thing. Continuing to double down by insulting others just needs to stop.
