WASHINGTON U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said so-called chain migration, a term often used to refer to citizens or permanent residents sponsoring relatives or the clustering of certain immigrants in the same areas, cannot be included in any immigration legislation.
CHAIN MIGRATION cannot be allowed to be part of any legislation on Immigration! Trump wrote on Twitter.

Dems have nothing to do with it. It’s Trump’s statements:
Were working on a plan for DACA. People want to see that happen.
The wall will come later.
so we met last night with as you know Schumer, Pelosi, and a whole group and I think were fairly close but we have to get massive border security
Oh I think hes on board. Yeah Mitch is on board Paul Ryans on board. We all feel - look 92% of the people agree on DACA but what we want is we want very very powerful border security.
Ryan and McConnell agree with us on DACA.
Notice the “us”? “Us” as in Trump, Pelosi, and Schumer.
Compare to his statements prior to being elected:
The executive order gets rescinded.
We have to make a whole new set of standards. And when people come in they have to come in legally.
We’re gonna keep the families together. We have to keep the families together. But they have to go.
They have to go.
They have to go.
“Speaker Paul Ryan and other GOP House members adamantly insisted that there was no agreement to enshrine protections for the immigrants brought to America as children and now here illegally.”
“John Cornyn of Texas, the No. 2 Senate Republican, put it this way: There was “a deal to make a deal.”
” one person familiar with the meeting said the president had agreed not to the DREAM Act... “ “” the president kept referencing DACA, while Schumer kept talking about the DREAM Act...”
“We’re not looking at citizenship, we’re not looking at amnesty. We’re looking at allowing people to stay here,” Trump told reporters as he traveled to view hurricane damage in Florida.
“But very importantly, what we want: We have to have a wall,” Trump said. “If we don’t have a wall, we’re doing nothing.”

There is no agreement... YET. A deal is desired.
“were not looking at amnesty. Were looking at allowing people to stay here” - very Clintonian, meaning of “is”
You are so correct. All part of the Dim/Soros/Obama plan to de Americanize the United States.
Unfortunately, it’s working.
Even though they think they can, a judge cannot overrule Trump’s cancellation of king Obama’s illegal, unConstitutional DACA executive order.
“Lets see what he does if it does include that.”
Trump just said that won’t happen. Do you have a problem reading English?
DACA stands for
American Last, Foreigner First
Republican Presidents dont pass laws. Congress does. Democrat Judges have no problem making laws.
Lets see what he does if it does include that.
Trump just said that wont happen. Do you have a problem reading English?

“We will immediately terminate President Obamas two illegal executive amnesties, in which he defied federal law and the constitution to give amnesty to approximately 5 million illegal immigrants,” Trump said at a campaign event in August 2016, promising to end DACA as well as Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents.
That speech echoed the promise Trump made when he launched his presidential campaign on June 16, 2015. “I will immediately terminate President Obama’s illegal executive order on immigration, immediately,” he said at that time.
Damn! Your dumbass post broke my STUPID meter. Trump has done more to promote conservative principals in 7 months than your RINO buddy Bush did in 8 years. But do carry on. I find you amusing.
Trump yaps tweets a mile a minute. But talking is different from doing. Getting back to the point, DACA is still with us, so "immediately" obviously means something different to Trump than to most people. I, equally, find you amusing. When Trump signs an amnesty immigration reform bill with huge Democratic support and the usual gang of RINOs, I bet you'll be cheering him bigly.
I see that you don’t have enough G-2 to insult me without copying me. I expect that from simpletons, but do carry on.
Your NeoCon hero Jeb Bush lost. Deal with it.
Let’s see.
very short article, not worth the clickthru, but wanted to highlight the tweet.
We just can’t be bringing entire villages over because they are related by cousins and such>>> creating public policy and debate via twitter is very new. I like the approach. it will be interesting. this may define how the republic will work in the future.
“Lets see.”
Indeed.
Trump has done more to engage and promote the conservative agenda in six months than the fake, conservative fraud Bush did in eight years.
I followed that sh*thead Bush for 8 years, and the only worthwhile thing he did was sign the Data Quality Act. I wouldn’t expect so-called conservatives to know about DQA because they have their mammon-worshipping heads shoved so far up their sphincter asses that they wouldn’t know what time the sun rises.
Best wishes to you and your family, TBP. G’night.
Like DACA, higher taxes (for the wealthy), the debt ceiling deal, supporting a mere trim of Obamacare (instead of repeal), just to name a few things.
“Trump is blowing smoke. He’s hoping that immigration patriots aren’t motivated enough to do the research to discover that he has uttered a bare-faced lie. Based on the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, both citizens and green card holders can bring relatives over. Unless explicitly repealed by Congress, any amnesty Trump arranges includes chain migration by default, unless this amnesty involves only a H-1B-like work permit”
the word “disingenuous” came to mind when I saw that tweet, but blowing smoke is more direct. An alternative interpretation (that he is not aware the 1965 act would need to be repealed) is no more reassuring.
Well shoot I guess I should have voted for Hillary - yeesh - no - I think DACA is in process of being dissected and as people see what the program truly is they get frustrated (who wants to be mean to kids on purpose) but then they learn its not that simple and see lots more then just kids getting first shafted by their parents then us they learn about chain immigration, anchor babys, fraud - then we seem to get angry and realize that of the two crappy solutions DACAns staying or leaving only one choice is crappy for the American citizen.
My hope is all this discussion bellyaching and bitching will give the president the wherewithal to pull the trigger and send 800,000 examples of why terrible mothers shouldn't abandon their unwanted children on trains.
Enough is enough this is our country - I think he'll do the right thing, even if it pulls on the heartstrings a bit.
What good does Amnesty do the president. The amount of votes he loses is nowhere near the number he gains and that he knows.
Some education of the American people needs to happen before this trail of tears ensues. That is where we come in, we've got about six months to make sure those that matter/vote know all about the problems caused by letting the DACAns stay.
Boy, the NeverTrumpers are rampant on this thread. They apparently missed the fact that their RINOs didn’t stand a snowball’s chance in sheol of winning, I suppose - poor buttthurts.
Notice the large magnitude of their arguments are hypotheses and innuendos...followed by bold statement demanding that Trump is lying and being contolled by others. These are exactly the kind of people who would vote for RINOs like Yeb Bush, Linda Grahamnesty and Lyin Ted. Go figure.
