Re: "The party's over: Republicans and Democrats are both finished"
Jim Robinson

Posted on 09/14/2017 3:06:21 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Well, there was this little thing called a VOTER REBELLION that occurred last November. Neither party wants to take responsibility (yet) for their own shortcomings, and neither party wants to admit (yet) that it's really happening. It'll take another election or two where the voters throw the bums out before they start getting the message.

It's way too early to send the success or failure of Trump's presidency to the jury, but I'm still happy. He already saved the nation from complete collapse under either Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton, the two uni-party favorites.

The establishment elites from both parties hate him to the core and will not lift a finger to help him move his agenda, so it's going to be doubly hard to succeed. But again, at least Hillary's agenda is not under consideration nor is Jeb's.

If Trump can horse trade and wrangle in his border wall, his tax cuts, continue his cuts to the EPA and other strangulators and get jobs and the economy moving again, and continue getting his conservative judicial picks conformed, then his presidency will definitely be a big WIN.

Meanwhile, we keep the rebellion moving. Lot's of Cantorizing yet to be done.

How the USA has got this far is beyond me..

Must be the working people

Think about the fools we elect for President

You are lucky if you get one good President in your lifetime..think about it

Mine would be Reagan..and Reagan’s biggest mistake was George Bush

Maybe I will get lucky and see two good Presidents

POTUS needs to find ways to make Mexico pay because Congress won’t help with the wall. Reason, it’s permanent, their next Obama can’t just turn off a wall.

Either with transaction fee on electronic transfers fm Americans & Illegals 2 Mexico to provide wall funding or Cruz’s idea of using drug $ confiscated at border.

To keep looking for a way in Congress is to spin his wheels, never gonna happen.

Totally agree with you! Especially this part............

“It’ll take another election or two where the voters throw the bums out before they start getting the message.”

They are certainly a bunch of slow learners. I get the deamoncraps doing everything to undermine the president because that’s what they always do when a republican is in office. Never mind that they are the epitome of the swamp. The republicans have certainly shown their slimy swamp side in all of this and picking them off should be a priority.

No surrender on border wall. A strong impregnable border wall MUST be built.
DACA Amnesty + no border wall = America turning into a Mexican drug cartel ruled hell hole in next to no time.
Trump of all people should know that.

What the UniParty doesn’t realize is if even Trump fails to deliver on anything, he still wins because it is so very obvious to everyone that both parties blocked everything we elected him to do.

Yep, that’s the way I see it.

I was hoping the GOP would fall in line. But it’s now obvious why they were so against Trump. With Trump in office, they are fully exposed for what they are.

"How the USA has got this far is beyond me.."

"Must be the working people"

No, it's not their fault. There is a long term plan that ends in a world government. A government that they will own and control. The working people are just tools that are manipulated towards this end. The majority of people today are uneducated in history and politics and are being unknowingly led down the path to enslavement. Education is the cure.

Right on the money, JimRob. We shudder at the likes of Eddie Munster and “Team Mitch” they are so transparent and fake. We need cleansing of the Congress.

I think it is up to us in the primary season to throw out establishment republicans and not worry whether the person is the best one to run a campaign against the opposing party.... having a republican in congress is meaning less unless they are conservative and not scared to put fourth conservative principles.

Great reply, bigbob!
I am so tired of all who are ‘not happy’ for this reason or that with our President because he isn’t doing or saying exactly as they want.

If for one second they would stop and think about what he saved us FROM for God’s sake, I think they might have a different outlook. Not to mention he is under assault constantly and we pray for his safety daily for a reason.

No, it’s not just you.

It’s the same cast of characters, over and over again in numerous threads.

I miss the FR of old that had intelligent, thoughtful and meaningful posts from a wide variety of participants.

Sadly, most political threads quickly devolve into puerile banter filled with pointless attacks from one poster to another.

Most of the “best” posters have long since fled FR, and that is unfortunate.

Thank you, J.R.!

Call me teacher’s pet* But I totally agree.
It gets real tiresome seeing so much pearl clutching going on lately.

‘We’/AMERICA dodged a major catastrophe last November. We may not get everything we want - when we want it. But look at the major gains and what we could have lost. It is a no-brainer.

I have even wondered if some of the complainers here were here to try to destroy our support of our President. There is a major ‘cold’ civil war going on now. And much of it is psy-ops. DON’T FALL FOR IT PEOPLE. Look at the alternatives we may have ended up with. BE THANKFUL ALWAYS. I am!!!
